For a married woman, is fulfilling one's duties towards one's family equal to leading a spiritual life?

[Mrs. Latha asked: What is the dharma of a married woman? Is doing household work and taking care of the family equal to leading a spiritual life? Please kindly guide me. Jai Gurudev!]

Swāmi replied: When something is inevitable, do it sincerely, feeling that it is God’s work. There is nothing wrong in such a feeling. But actually, spiritual work means the work done for God. You can work with the feeling that your work itself is God’s work, but the actual reality is that God’s work alone is God’s work.
