[An online spiritual discussion was conducted on December 27, 2020, in which several devotees participated. Some of the questions of devotees answered by Swāmi are given below.]
1. Do You not find it irritating or tiresome that I make You teach me the same lesson again and again?
[A question asked by Śrī Bharath Krishna.]
Swāmi replied: Giving the same answer repeatedly is revision of the concept, which is also essential in the path of preaching spiritual knowledge.
2. Is it better to reform the world only after reaching the spiritual goal oneself?
[Shri. Rajashekar asked: After my yoga class, my yoga master said that we should propagate the Bhagavad Gītā by going door-to-door. But I said that it is better to think about reforming others, only after I myself become like Śṛī Kṛṣṇa or Śrī Rāma by doing my spiritual effort (sādhana). To my comment, my master replied, “What is the greatness in donating money after earning one crore rupees? I should donate to the maximum extent of my capacity even when I only have 10 rupees. That is really great.” What is Your opinion about this, Swami?]
Swāmi replied: Donation must exist at both levels. You must donate something when you only have 10 rupees and you should donate much more than that when you have 1 crore rupees. But you should be sure that the donated notes are not fake. They must be genuine. You can preach any concept, at any level. But that concept should be perfectly correct from all angles. Unless you are very sure about all the angles of a concept, do not preach it. At any level, you can propagate spiritual knowledge. But at every level, the concept pertaining to that level must be thoroughly checked from all sides through very very sharp analysis.
