[Shri Durgaprasad asked: Paadanamaskaaram Swami, my question is related to Your new revelation about created forms of Krishna. I summarise from Your earlier discourse about sexual actions of Vyaasa and Shankara - "Sage Vyasa participated in the sex with the widow-wives of His brothers on the order of His mother for the extension of her race. Shankara also performed sexual corruption with the wives of king Amaruka."
In these cases, it was mentioned that the cycle was struck at a point without further motion and the inert activity had no intention or other pure intention before it and also could not generate any intention further and hence it was not sin. But according to Your new revelation, only unreal forms of Human incarnations participated in sex. These two angles appear to be different. How to correlate both the angles? Kindly enlighten me. At Your lotus feet, -Durgaprasad]
Swami replied: - In the case of sage Vyaasa, He had to perform the sex with His own body because the body of his dead brother was absent since the funeral rituals of that body were finished long back. Here, the sin is linked only to intention and not to the body. In the case of Shankara, He entered into the dead body of a king to learn sex and hence, both the intention and body were not involved in the sin. Intention is the real cause of sin. Even Sita mentioned this concept by telling that even though Ravana touched her body while carrying her to Lanka, she has no sin because she was not having any intention in that act of Ravana (Yadyahaṃ gātra saṃsparśam… - Valmiki Ramayanam).
Your argument is that the original creator-Krishna could have participated in the romance with Gopikas without intention instead of creating duplicate Krishnas. In the case of sage Vyaasa, His sperm was essentially required so that the Kuru dynasty was to be extended since Vyaasa also belonged to the Kuru dynasty, being the son of Satyavati, the wife of a king of the Kuru dynasty only. Such a requirement was not there in the case of Krishna and the Gopikas. Only the form of Krishna was required so that the Gopikas were to be satisfied in their faith that they united with the original Krishna. Hence, the duplicate Krishnas possessing the form of original Krishna were sufficient to solve the problem completely so that original Krishna can escape the blame that He is having sexual interest towards the Gopikas. In the case of sage Vyaasa, such situation did not exist and He had no other option than involving His own body in the sexual act with his brother’s wives. In the case of God Krishna, the situation provides such way since His original sperm is not required at all. One shall try to escape from the sin as far as possible because a sin can be done in an inevitable case provided the ultimate end of the situation is perfectly justified. If you analyze the total background, everything will be clear without contradiction.
