Please interpret the following incident and any deeper meaning to be realized from this.

[Ms. Amudha asked:- I humbly seek Your guidance in understanding an incident that took place recently, or to know if I should simply let it go.

Swami, during my recent Giri Pradakshina (Kēraivalam) at Tiruvannamalai, my mind was disturbed and not at peace due to certain personal worries. While walking, I was inwardly wondering how to calm my thoughts. At that time, a sage appeared, wearing blue attire, with jaṭā hair and many Rudrākṣa beads. He approached me and asked for the time. I was not wearing a watch, so I called out to my mother and my friend Sumanjali, who were walking a little ahead of me, and I asked Sumanjali for the time. She told me it was 6:35 AM. The sage then asked whether it was morning or evening. I felt surprised and a little unsettled by his question, but I replied to him that it was morning. The sage smiled gently, and I moved on quietly.

Later, when I shared the incident with my mother and Sumanjali, they laughed lightly. But after meeting the sage, I experienced a sense of peace and was able to continue the walk with a lighter heart. Swami, I believe that nothing happens without Your divine will. I do not know how to interpret this incident—whether it carries a deeper meaning for me to realise, or if I should simply let it pass without dwelling on it. I humbly seek Your kind guidance. Swami replied:- It is a divine message. The twilight looks one and the same in the morning after which the Sun rises and in the evening after which the Sun sets. You should be in the same balanced state of light and darkness (happiness and misery) whether you are going to face long light or long darkness. You have passed millions of births and this one birth is nothing compared to your infinite number of past births or future births. You faced similar problems in the past and you are going to face similar problems in the future. It was continuous cycle, which will be the same continuous cycle in future births. Such true spiritual knowledge gives mental balance called peace, which is a zero state. If you proceed towards God after attaining this peaceful state, the present peaceful state becomes morning twilight. If you proceed towards the world after attaining this peaceful state, the present peaceful state becomes evening twilight. From zero state, whether you proceed to positive side (+1) or to negative side (-1), the decision depends on your capability of logical analysis.
