Taking the blisters caused by fire
Once in Vijayawada, Swami took out His Yajnopaviita (sacred thread) and placed it near the photo of Lord Datta and said, “An ST devotee, who is a devotee of Lord Datta, has been severely exposed to fire; I am taking his blisters due to fire burns.” Immediately, terrible burn blisters appeared on the body of Swami. Swami underwent the hell like sufferance for three days. Without receiving any medicine or treatment, they disappeared on the fourth day. Swami again wore the Yajnopaviita. Is it not clear that in the eyes of Swami, there can never be any caste-based prejudice except the intensity of devotion?
