Taking the Blood Pressure of a Devotee:
Shri Koneru Satyanarayana is the Chairman of Koneru Lakshmaiah Engineering College. He has a lot of interest and devotion towards Swami. Swami always told us that Shri Satyanarayana is the best spiritual aspirant who personifies truth and justice. One day, he was sitting on the sofa with Swami next to him and was checking his blood pressure with a blood pressure monitor. By that time, despite undergoing many treatments for the past 15 days, his blood pressure had not come down. He discussed with Swami about his illness. Swami smiled. "How much is it now?" Swami asked him. Immediately, upon re-checking, his test showed a surprise low level! The testing device showed that his blood pressure had decreased. He was astonished by seeing this. That night, Swami slept in our house, but, He sufferred from high blood pressure. Is it not a sign of Shri Datta's compassion that He takes the illness of His devotees, undergoes it and relieves them by giving happiness to them?
