I pray to Śrī Rāma, the One born in the Raghu dynasty; The beautiful Rāma; the Kodaṇḍa Rāma; the coronated Rāma and the ever Pure Rāma.

O Śrī Rāma, be my ultimate resort. Please be highly compassionate towards me, O king of the Raghu dynasty.

navajaladaśyāmaṁ | maithilīvāmam ॥yāce॥

I pray to the one who exceedes Manmatha (Cupid) in bodily beauty; Who killed the multitude of demons (sons of Diti); Whose body complexion is dark like a newly formed cloud and Who has wife Sītā Devī sitting on his side.

Hanumadarcitaṁ | bharatapūjitam |
lakṣmaṇavanditaṁ | śatrughnasatkṛtaṃ sītā sevitam ॥yāce॥

I pray to the One who is worshipped by Lord Hanumān and honored by His younger brother Bharata; Who was praised by Lakṣmaṇa, revered by Śatṛghna and served by Sītā respectively.

daśarathātmajaṁ | vipulākṣivārijam |
ekaśilīmukha hata daśamukhabhājam ॥yāce॥

I pray to Śrī Rāma, the son of Daśaratha, whose eyes are wide like a lotus flower; Who killed the ten-headed Rāvaṇa with a single arrow.

aṁsāropita divyaśārṅgakodaṇḍam
ātmanā vyāpta carācara jagadaṇḍam ॥yāce॥

I pray to Śrī Rāma, who always carries the divine Śārṅga or Kodaṇḍa weapon on His mighty shoulders; Who is pervading (rules over) the entire egg-like universe.

gautama satī śilā śāpavimocanam
śānta vilokanānta karuṇāmṛta secanam ॥yāce॥

I pray to Śrī Rāma, who released Ahalyā, the wife of Gautama, from the curse of being turned into a stone; Who, by His peaceful gaze (sight), showers the divine nectar of compassion.

bāla śaradambho dharāṁśu rocanam
sphurattaruṇa mīnāyata vilocanam ॥yāce॥

I pray to the One Whose radiation is like the rays of a new born cloud in the autumn season and Whose wide eyes are like glittering young fish.
