Following is the compilation of some of the wonderful miracles performed by His Holiness Shri Shri Shri Datta Swami in the lives of His devotees. All the miracles being posted here on the website are the English translations of the book ‘Mahima Yamuna’, a book compiled and published in Telugu by Shri Chilukuri Balakrishna Murthy and other devotees.
Prof. Dr. Jannabhatla Venugopala Krishnamurthy is called ‘Swami’ or ‘Datta Swami’ by all His devotees. The devotees strongly believe that Swami is directly the incarnation of Lord Datta...(Click here to read)
The miracles of Swami are in plenty. The Gita says, ‘Nānto'sti mama divyānām’! We have presented here only a few of them as samples in this Mahima Yamuna.
“Attain the pleasure of Datta by developing faith in the disbelievers through 'Mahima Yamuna', develop devotion to those who have poverty of devotion through ‘Bhakti Ganga’ and knowledge to those who have poverty of knowledge through ‘Jnana Sarasvati’. Sacrifice is the form of Lord Datta”, says Swami. The book named “Jnana Sarasvati”, needs to be printed.
We have already printed and propagated many holy books on Lord Datta. “My work is to propagate the spiritual knowledge and uplift the souls. Those who participate and serve Me in My program bring greater joy than those who serve Me personally”, says Swami.
Shri Koneru Satyanarayana donated a computer for printing, Shri Bhimasankaram donated Rs. 50,000/-, the couple Shri Chandrasekhar and Smt. Gayatri donated Rs. 55,000/- and Shri Ajay donated Rs. 60,000/-. Shri Seshadri took the responsibility to run the ‘Sri Dattavani’ magazine. Shri Sharma is making cassettes of Swami's bhajans and distributing them to devotees.
Shri Balakrishna Murthy and his family members stood as the pillar of this propagation service and arranged all the necessary funds. Many more devotees of Lord Datta have given Guru Dakshinas to the best of their ability and are circulating these holy books to the deserving people and turning themselves as instruments in this program (yajña) of Lord Datta, which is the propagation of knowledge and devotion and are reaching Shri Datta with their sacrifice.
“Tyāgenaike amṛtattva mānaśuḥ” says the Shruti. Hanuman became the topper among all the devotees by doing selfless service in the work of the Lord. Shankara, Ramanuja, Madhva and Mira attained Kaivalya by doing the service of propagating knowledge and devotion. Quoting the Gita, Swami says, Karma phala tyāga, which states that those who do not have the opportunity to participate in the service of propagation can attain liberation by sacrificing their fruit of work (i.e., sacrificing from their earnings).
Therefore, this is our invitation to those who want to participate in the service of Lord Datta and attain Datta Kaivalya!
“Participation in My work is the fruit of the spiritual effort. It is only through My grace that a soul attains it”, says Swami.
