నిన్నే పిలుస్తం దత్తుడో!

We call You only, O Datta!

నిన్నే పిలుస్తం దత్తుడో!
నీ కోసం ప్రాణాలైనా ఇస్తామురా.
We call You only, O Datta!
For You, we will give even our life.

అనసూయమ్మ పాలుత్రాగి పెరిగినోడా,
అత్రి మునికే వేదాలను బోధించినోడా.
You were grown by the breast of Mother Anasuuyaa,
You preached the Vedas even to Father Sage Atri.

అంతరార్థమేదో నీవే చెప్పగలవు,
స్కందగురువుకే తత్త్వం వివరించినోడా.
You alone can reveal the right interpretation,
You explained philosophy to preacher Skanda.
(Skanda is God Subrahmanya, the son of God Shiva and Goddess Parvati)

మంత్రాలకు నీవు చెప్పే భాష్యాలు వింటే,
బ్రహ్మర్షులైనా నోరెళ్ళ బెడతారు రా.
If Your commentaries to Vedic Hymns are heard,
Even Divine Sages will open mouths in wonder.

సర్వమత మూలాలను ఏకం చేసినోడా,
విశ్వశాంతిని నీవే నిలబెట్టగలవు.
You have united the roots of all religions,
You alone can establish world peace.
