With salutations at the Lotus Feet of Shri Datta Swami, I would like to share some of the miraculous experiences with my beloved Swami.

I did my graduation in Bangalore and my family was well-off during that time. I used to visit the Arunachalam Temple almost twice a month. Since my childhood, I loved Lord Subrahmanya Swami so much that I considered Him my own brother. Keeping His photo in front of me, I used to share everything with Him. I was also interested in the teachings of Shri Ramana Maharshi. I used to follow Shri Vidyaranaya Swamiji’s teaching and listen to the pravachanas of Shri Chaganti Garu. In course of time, I completed my studies and shifted to Hyderabad for job.
I learnt from one of my friends that Shri Vidyaranya Swamiji sometimes visits the house of Smt. Geeta Garu who owns a small-scale industry in Guntur. Immediately, I contacted her and talked about my interest in spirituality. She told me that she had a job opening in her industry which produces Turmeric and Saffron (Pasupu & Kumkuma) that are majorly used in ritualistic worship of God. Since I like to serve God, I took that job and actively participated in spiritual discussions happening at her house.
Over there, I came across Shri Phani Kumar Sir who explained wonderful Spiritual Knowledge given by Shri Datta Swami. Initially, I couldn’t concentrate well on the concepts but as time passed, I started understanding it and liking it. All the concepts were very logical and practical. I was convinced in mind that Phaniji is my brother along with Lord Subramanya. Phaniji never took the credit of preaching such excellent knowledge. He passed on the credit and praised His Sadguru His Holiness Shri Datta Swami. He says that he is only a servant of Shri Datta Swami, who is the incarnation of the Lord Datta propagating His true spiritual knowledge. He firmly told that Shri Datta Swami is none other than Lord Datta Himself and that He came down to Earth to preach this true spiritual knowledge. I was enjoying the knowledge of Swami (Shri Datta Swami) until I got a phone call from my home saying that there was a problem at home.
It is only after reaching home, I realized the intensity of the problem. My father was in jewelry business for many years. He gives gold loans to his customers and the collected gold was kept in a bank locker under the name of his subordinate who seemed to be a trust worthy person. It turned out that the sub-ordinate had robbed all the gold and absconded from the place. Slowly, customers started demanding their gold and we were absolutely helpless. My father revealed to me that we were in debt of about twenty lakh rupees. I’m already a timid person by nature and this fact had terrified me very much. I phoned to Phaniji and he gave me the following mantra, “Dattatreya Bhavaneva, Bhavaneva Gatirmama” and this is a line in the book called “Dattatreyam” written by Shri Datta Swami. Swami used to give this line to devotees entangled in severe difficulties. He suggested to me and my family to chant this mantra continuously. He assured that Lord Datta will take care of us and everything will be fine. I got some strength by listening to his divine words and started chanting the mantra as my only human effort to resolve the problem.
To clear the hefty debt of 20 lakhs, we decided to sell our ancestral land. Unfortunately, the maximum amount being offered was only 15 lakhs. We felt hopeless again and my father also abandoned us unable to handle the stress. Since there was no income, we lost everything in course of time and started borrowing money for food and house rent. We used to sit in the shop and attend the old customers. They demanded their money using abusive language and vulgar behavior. One day, even police came to our house saying that one of our customers had complained against us. We were disgraced by those actions. Unable to tolerate this, my mother, brother and myself even thought of committing suicide. But by grace of Lord Datta, we left that idea. We used to chant the Datta Mantra every day to handle each passing day. I observed that whenever I was chanting the mantra, the customers who came to us became calm suddenly, asked for their money decently and showed patience to listen to our explanations. They miraculously changed their behavior. Lord Datta had evidently relieved us from bearing the aggressive behaviour of the customers.
Four months later, my father came back and we sold our ancestral property for 15 lakhs. I assumed that we would be relieved from the stress after this. But, my feeling of relief evaporated within few minutes when my father revealed that the actual debt is not 20 lakhs but One crore! That scared the hell out of me. In that dire situation, I phoned to Phaniji and he guided me to meet the higher authorities of police. Although I had bitter experiences from police, I went ahead with blind faith on God Datta and that was when a miracle happened. I met the Deputy Superintendent of Police and explained everything with extreme hopelessness. To my surprise, he reacted very positively. He said, “Since the gold is in the name of your employee and not on the name of your father, there is no problem for you and your family. I am closing this case right away!”. I felt very happy and thanked Lord Datta for solving this problem so easily. We immediately shifted to Hyderabad to restart our lives. I resumed learning the spiritual knowledge of Swami in online Satsangs held by Swami’s devotees.
I got an important lesson that God Datta alone is trust worthy and He alone is my protector. There is no well-wisher than the Lord Datta. Anybody can abandon us except God Datta. He is my eternal father and also father of my own family. With all my love, I approached Shri Datta Swami, who is my Lord Datta. Swami came out of His house when I was unable to navigate to His place. I fell on His feet and said, “Swami, I realized that You are my Divine Father and Divine Mother. Please accept me as Your servant. Just give me food three times a day and I will stay with You as Your servant”. Swami gave a divine smile and said, “No…you should stand by your family and support your family members. I will find a good job for you. Settle in Pravritti (Worldly life) and then take up God’s work”. I witnessed the infinite kind nature of the Lord Datta and tears rolled down my cheek.
As per the will of Swami, I got a job in good company. I thank Swami every month when I receive my salary because it is Swami giving the money through the company. Swami also blessed me to do to His personal service whenever I tried for it. Swami’s devotees are my true relatives who always encourage me to move closer to God Datta. Many problems have come including a threat to my life, but Swami saved me. I have the highest insurance called Datta-Insurance for my life. Nothing can touch me as long as Datta-shield is around me. I owe Swami so much that I can never ever pay Him back. Thank You Swami for guiding me, protecting me and making Yourself available to an undeserving person like me.
