[Shri. Hrushikesh asked: Dear Swami, Request You to kindly help us with the answers for the below questions asked by Russian friend Ingrid.
Question 1: I want to ask Your Guru Shri Datta Swami, can he can give the knowledge of Shruti Vedas? The understanding of meaning of the Vedas?]
Swami replied:- The Veda says that the Veda is infinite (Anantā vai Vedāḥ). The Vedic knowledge is also said to be infinite by the Veda itself (Satyaṃ Jñāna manantaṃ Brahma). You must question a particular concept about which I can explain the correct interpretation of whatever is said in the Veda about that concept. If you ask “Please tell the knowledge of Chemistry”, is it possible to explain the entire chemistry? When this is the case of a limited worldly subject, what about the vast spiritual knowledge preached by the Veda?
Q. Should I come to India and find one Guru to learn Vedas? or can I learn from different diksha Gurus?
[Question 2: If I want to learn, should I go to India and find one Guru? or I can learn from different diksha Gurus? At Your Divine Lotus Feet, Hrushikesh]
Swami replied:- The Veda means knowledge. You can read the English translation of the Veda staying in your country itself.
