My name is Jitendra Datta. I am a devotee of Shri Lord Datta. I am 26 years old. Suddenly, one known person (Datta Bhakta) sent an image of Shri Datta Swamiji Bhakti Ganga's book cover page. He asked me, do you know about him like this? I said I needed to learn more about Swamiji. Can you please do me a favour? Please send the next page, like the address and more information about Swamiji. He said no, I don't have any information about Datta swami. This is the test for you. You must gather and research about Datta Swami, so I started searching Swamiji. Do you know, how I can find Swamiji? I used to search on Google, Facebook, Instagram, and all social media platforms. I also have yet to get a single word.
Then I started chanting Datta Namam, and I had one habit: daily, I would do some parayana; on that day, I started reading Mahatma Parichayam's book. I found Swamiji's photo and name on the 128th page. Then, I immediately called Srimati Rajyalakshmi garu (Pune) and asked for more info. about Shri Swamiji. She said I would try after two hours. I got a call from her, and she gave me her phone number, Srimati Annapurna garu. I called her at 09.30 pm and asked Madam, may I come to Swamji darshnam?
Kindly accept my request and inform Swamiji. I must do Swamiji darshan at any cost. The next day, I got a call from Sri Sharma Garu, who added me to the Datta Swamiji group. He shared the Universal Spirituality website and Swamji's phone number. The next day, I called Swamiji and sought permission for Swamiji darshan. With utmost love, Swamiji permitted Darshan and me to visit Swamiji's house in Bollarum on Kartika somavaram. When I saw it, Swamiji asked me why I came here. What do you want from me? I replied I came here only for your darshan, Swamiji. Swamiji smiled and replied start hanuman upsana for one year. Slowly, you will develop in all stages of life. With Swamiji's blessings and utmost joy, I left Shri Swamji's house.
Next week, on December 15th, 2023, early morning 05.00 am, I got a call from my uncle; he said that your father's health condition was severe. We took him to the hospital, but the doctors did not admit him. They referred to Vizianagaram government hospital. Later, when we reached Maharaj Hospital, doctors visited my father in the ambulance and said his health condition was severe. He can't survive more than two to three hours. Doctors said it was better to return home. He is in the unconscious stage. Later, with my uncle's support, my father was admitted to a private hospital. Private doctors said before starting treatment, we need a signature stating that patient condition is severe. If anything happens during treatment, doctors and hospital management are not responsible, and we are not assured. If you are okay with this, please sign this sheet, and only then can we start treatment. My uncle called and explained the entire situation and what is your decision. I said, please sign on that sheet. Lord Datta will decide.
The destination. In the evening, I visited Vijayanagaram and visited the hospital. I was surprised to see his situation. Even I couldn't recognize him properly. Due to the kidney's poor functioning and high-water intake, the entire urination system was blocked, and the body swelled more than five times the standard size. Later, he was admitted to the ICU Ward. I asked my family members to leave the hospital immediately, and I said I would stay there. I have only 70k amount in my hand. Slowly, doctors started treatment and gave some medication. In the meantime, I don't know how to handle this situation. I don't have any support, background, money, nothing in my hand. I have only one thing in my heart, that is trust. Lord Datta will guide me, He will support me, and He will lead the situation.
On that day from the hospital, I joined Saturday Satsang. At that time, sorry, I didn't remember his name. He was reading Swamiji's miracles. I listened very carefully and started Japam. Suddenly, he was reading one devotee's experience of how Swamiji saved her father. After the completion of that miracle, the doctor called me and said, your father was out of danger. There is nothing to worry. The miracle is you guys are all listening in teams, but I am experiencing it live.
After five days in the ICU, on Thursday morning, the doctor said your father will be discharged today. My father was removed from the hospital. The main highlight thing was without any staff support, a wheelchair, or a stretcher, my father slowly walked and sat in the vehicle. While we were paying the discharge bill, the primary doctor came and reduced the bill from 1 lakh to 50k. I have only 25k in my hand. While I was ready to pay the bill, I got to know that my uncle already paid 30k, the remaining balance I paid, and left the hospital. This way, Swamiji helped me and stood with me throughout the situation. Doctors said this was a miracle. This was the first time we saw a person admitted to ICU and discharged like normal. I believe in a rebirth for my father. I humbly offer my saastanga namaskaram to Sri Swamiji for giving rebirth to my father.
