Paadanamaskaaram Swami,
I would like to share a humorous miracle bestowed by You. Currently, we are in the final stage of designing the book ‘Shri Datta Swami’ composed by JSR Prasad Garu. This book gives a complete overview of You, including the miracles You performed, glimpses of true spiritual concepts revealed by You and sweet divine songs composed by You. We have added Your beautiful photos decorated in various forms of God. My sister, Ms. Thrylokya, is reviewing the entire book, and we both planned to start the final review on the 26th morning at 6 a.m. Although in the same city, Hyderabad, since I stay in the Dental University hostel and she was at home, I planned to connect on a Teams call and do the work by sharing my screen with her. It sounded like a perfect plan!
I dutifully woke up at dawn and opened my laptop just to realise that my hostel Wi‑Fi was dead. I tried my phone hotspot, but the lag was so bad that even screen‑sharing looked like a slow‑motion movie. My sister said, “We cannot work like this” and aborted the call. But, I wasn’t ready to surrender. By Swami’s grace, a sudden thought about ‘College Wi‑Fi’ struck my mind and it always works. Immediately, I packed my laptop and headed to the college building. I woke up the watchman, grabbed the orange keys of my Prosthodontics Department and rushed to the door. I unlocked the door and successfully restarted the Teams call within minutes. We were happily working until 8:30 a.m., when the chief sister of the department walked in. She looked at the open lock, then at me and asked how I got in so early. I smoothly replied, “Exams are near, so I came to study.” But her shock wasn’t about me being so early to the department. She was only freaking out about how I unlocked the door. In a panicking voice, she asked: “Bhanu, how could you open this door?”. I replied candidly, “I got the keys from our watchman”. I was afraid that she would question me about the non-department work I was doing. But she asked a different question, “Why are the keys of another department present here?” To close the conversation quickly, I apologised to her, saying, “Perhaps by mistake, I would have brought those keys, Ma’am. I am sorry for the mistake”. She lost her mind and shouted, “Bhanu! The key you brought is not fitting into the lock. It’s not even our department keys! How did you open the lock???”. In front of my eyes, she was trying to insert the key into the lock and it was not fitting at all. That’s when I realised that it is an unimaginable event that cannot be explained by any science or worldly logic. Swami had already termed it as a ‘miracle’. I didn’t take long to realise that nobody can perform this miracle except Swami, our contemporary human incarnation of God. Swami always says that Prakruti will rearrange itself when God’s will exist. Somehow, by Swami’s grace, a random key had miraculously fit the lock and I had no logical answer to give her. We both stood there, stunned, realizing this was no ordinary coincidence. When I took the key into my hand, I was sweetly surprised that the orange key chain had number ‘3’ written on it, which indicates God Datta with three heads of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva.
When I narrated this whole incident to my mother, she jokingly said, “Next time, when you go to the department in the early mornings, please do not disturb the poor watchman. Since you always carry our house keys, use those house keys to open that door!”. Jokes apart, this small incident is not at all ordinary. Although Wi‑Fi failed me, Swami didn’t. Swami not only gives me opportunities to serve Him, but also unlocks every hindering door that comes my way. Swami is the ultimate Divine Locksmith, who opens doors that no one can shut. He holds the keys of death and life, offering salvation by unlocking the chains of sin through His true spiritual knowledge. Thank you, Swami, for every single service You are providing me. I always aim to serve You every minute of my life. But, end up failing. The services You provide me never fail at any point in time. I am short of words for Your grace on me, Swami.
Always at Your Divine Lotus Feet,
Ms. Bhanu Samykya.
