[Following are the questions asked by devotees to Swami in the satsaṅga held on October 17, 2020]
[Śrī Veena Datta asked: Swami, while discussing with one of my friends, we were a little confused about the statement made by You, “When man proposes, God disposes”. Can You please explain in what context it is applicable?]
Swami replied: Whenever man proposes, he naturally develops an ego in his mind. Proposing without ego is very very rare and is only possible for spiritually ripened people. To remove this ego, God disposes of your proposal, thereby preaching to man that God is the ultimate authority and not the human being.
