Eliminating a Special Disease of a Student
An engineering student, son of a retired Income Tax Officer, Shri Subbarao, in Bandar, developed a disease in which he will get the feeling of vomiting due to the bad smell of his own sweat. Many doctors tried to treat him but were unsuccessful. They did a lot of Graha japas (prayers) and worships of God. Despite taking refuge in many great saints, there was no benefit. Finally, that father approached Swami. Swami refused, saying that when so many people were unable to cure it, it was not possible for Him either. Then the father said, “The devotees are saying that you are Lord Datta. Therefore, you are only My saviour,” and he prayed very, very pitiably. Swami’s heart melted and He gave him Vibhuti. As soon as the father placed that Vibhuti on the forehead of his son, the disease disappeared. The father came with his relatives and friends and worshipped Swami.
