Paadanamaskaaram Swami.
I am Vijayalakshmi, a mother of two daughters living in Vijayawada. I am a homemaker and my husband, Uday, works for a Bank. I am one among those devotees, who keep waiting for Swami to come to Vijayawada so that we get to see Him and listen to spiritual knowledge from Him. My friend, Lakshmi Lavanya, has introduced me to His Holiness Shri Datta Swami and the moment I met Him, I realised that I had reached the feet of my eternal Divine Father. Due to some personal incidents, I have learnt that even my parents don’t truly love me. Whenever there is a serious problem, even my closest family members have left me without giving even mental support, costing mere words. When no one cared for me, only God was standing by me. As Datta Swami, God is now directly talking to me and guiding me, like a father holding his daughter’s hand.
This incident happened 18 years ago. I did not have children even after 5 years of marriage and hence, everyone looked down upon me. One day, I happened to go to the temple of Venkayya Swami at Gollagamudi and prayed to Him. Venkayya Swami came to my dream and told “I have operated your stomach and removed the problem that is not allowing you to give birth. Your pregnancy will be confirmed next month. Do not worry”. As told by God to me, I became pregnant and gave birth to a daughter. Doctors told my husband that this delivery itself was so critical and threatening to her life, so do not try for another child. We both did not plan for another child. But after 5 years, God blessed us with another daughter, disproving the indication made by medical science. With these two incidents, we became strong believers in the omnipotent God, who can do things impossible for science and He knows the heart of every soul.
Being a mother of two daughters, I was always emotional and afraid of everything in life. I used to always worry about protecting my family. 5 years ago, my husband came home in an agitated mood and told me he had resigned from his job because of harassment of his team members at the bank. I started crying hopelessly and fighting with him since my children are too small and I had no clue how they would survive without the salary of my husband. I was not convinced by the reasons told by my husband and I ended up in depression for a month until he got another job. I couldn’t sleep at night and couldn’t eat, thinking about our future. My daughters were also disturbed seeing my hopeless condition. This is before I received the fire-like true spiritual knowledge of Swami.
On 18th April 2026, the same incident was repeated. My husband came home in despair, saying that he had resigned from his job due to a conflict with his manager. This time, the scene is reversed due to Swami’s grace. I told to my husband, “Swami is God Datta and He is in our life. No loss can happen to the devotee of God Datta, who is the root source of all incarnations of God. We both are just biological parents to our children in this birth alone and Swami is our real Father in all the births. Swami will take care of us and our children. We should not think that our family is running because of your salary. Our family is running purely by the grace of Swami”. I also told about the story of a dog, which is often quoted by Swami. Swami always says “God always sends a soul to this earth after creating sufficient food and other comforts for the soul. The soul thinks that it is maintaining its family, which is a false notion. A cart was being pulled by a horse. A dog was also running underneath the cart. The dog was tired and was breathing fast. A saint saw this dog and told it to stop running and take some rest. The dog replied ‘How can I stop? If I stop, this whole cart will stop!’ The poor ignorant dog was thinking that it was pulling the cart! This is the inherent ego and ignorance of the soul. The soul thinks that it is doing the action of maintaining the family. It is a false notion since even its own body is not under its control. The soul cannot even prevent a disease from attacking the body!”
After listening to this wisdom given by Swami and witnessing the mental strength I have attained after following Swami, he was relieved from the misery of losing his job. He also was very much convinced that in the administration of God, injustice cannot happen and hence, God will give him another opportunity to work and run our family. On the 25th of April, when Swami came to Vijayawada, my husband came to meet Swami for the first time and took Swami’s blessings. Swami told us to chant the most powerful Maha Mantra “Shri Anjaneya Shri Subrahmanya” that can solve all kinds of worldly problems miraculously. By Swami’s grace, my husband received a call for an interview for the same valued position in another department of the same bank. The three rounds of interviews happened very quickly in 3 days, but the result was not disclosed. Unlike the last time, I did not reveal to my children that their father lost his job. Their exams and holidays went by routine as if nothing big had happened. All the credit goes to my Divine Father, Shri Datta Swami.
Swami also told us that Trailokya Garu will be coming to Vijayawada on 4th May. I asked swami if I could meet her. Swami told you that you can phone to her and get a confirmation. But unexpectedly, she arrived at Vijayawada on 2nd May itself. She was planning to leave by the afternoon after some work, but after my repeated requests, she agreed to come to my home for a short time. Since it was lunch time, we served her food and she did the best Satsanga with us. Although Trailokya Garu stayed with us for only 2 hours, Lakshmi Lavanya, my children, and I were very happy because of her presence. We went all the way to the bus stand along with her to give her a send-off. On the very day, at night 11:30 PM, my husband received an email that his new job is confirmed. Although Trailokya Garu was supposed to come on 4th May, she came on 2nd May itself due to the grace of Swami on us. My younger daughter told me that Swami sent His female version to our home, and I cried with joyful tears.
The next day, I phoned Swami and told Him everything. Swami said “You have received this good fruit because God is pleased with you. God is pleased with you because you invited Trailokya to lunch without expecting any fruit in return. You practically sacrificed money and did practical service, although your family income has stopped. That’s why God gave you practical fruit. God always protects His real devotees, who prove their love through practical sacrifice and service (to God or/and God’s devotees) without any aspiration, called as Nishkaama Karma Yoga”. Swami also jokingly added, “This Trailokya, being My opposition leader, has now started competing with Me in doing miracles also!”.
Swami is so kind that He helps a poor ignorant soul like me, who has spent most of the life for worldly things only. He gives spiritual knowledge in a very simple way so that even people like me with low intelligence can understand. His examples help me remember the whole spiritual concept very well. I may not be well educated, I may not be well off, but my father, Shri Datta Swami, will not leave me alone. I will be loyal to Swami's grace and surrender myself to Swami. My only desire is to be at His feet. I want to reach to a devotional state, where I bother only about my impression in Swami’s mind and not care about anybody and anything in this world. I may not be capable to reaching this height of devotion by myself, but since my Preacher, God Datta Swami, is of the highest order, my progress and success are for sure.
