O Learned and Devoted Servants of God
1. Does supporting the organizations, which try to expose injustice, come under justice and please God?
[Ms. Thrylokya asked:- Across the world, poor people are getting exploited. The socialist and communist organizations in every country are trying to mobilize people exposing the injustice and hypocrisy in the political systems and other governing systems. Does supporting them theoretically and practically come under justice and please God? What is the permanent solution for this worldly problem?]
Swami replied:- This work is really commendable and God will be very much pleased with the souls serving in this line. The poor people should be helped by donating materials like food, clothes, house and medicines for diseases. The socialists and communists will get good fruits for such social service. If poor people are given money, they will spend the money for vices like alcohol, cigarettes etc., and that money will not reach their family members in need. But, if these socialists and communists believe in God and develop devotion along with social service, they will be doubly benefitted. If the spiritual knowledge is propagated to the poor people, they will also be doubly benefitted. Double benefit means both heaven after death and protection from God while on earth and after death are achieved.
2. Is will power enough to achieve anything in the life?
[I have heard a motivational speech from a handicapped person, who is a very successful businessman. He is saying that strong will power is enough to achieve anything in life. Is it true?]
Swami replied:- Strong will power is only a helping factor in achieving anything in this world. But, mere will power can’t achieve anything in this world. With the help of God’s omnipotent power, anything in the world can be achieved very easily. Ignorant people think that they can achieve anything by their will power. If somebody achieved a good fruit without the help of God, it only means that the person had attained the good fruits of his merits done previously or at present. Such fruits of merits are also given by God only following the divine constitution written by Him. In this case, God gives the fruits of merits bound by the theory of deeds and fruits as per His constitution and in this place, fruits are achieved by any soul irrespective of the soul’s will power. Once these fruits of merits get exhausted, mere will power of any soul cannot achieve any fruit in the world. In such case, if the soul is a devotee of God, God will help him/her even in the absence of fruits of their merits and even in the absence of the soul’s will power. The devotion to God is most valuable, which helps the devotees in need here on earth and in the upper worlds after death.
3. Do Datta and Anagha choose different devoted souls to merge when they incarnate?
[Swami, whenever God Datta and Goddess Anaghaa want to incarnate on earth, do they choose different devoted souls to merge with each time?]
Swami replied:- The process of formation of human incarnations is that the energetic incarnation like God Datta and Goddess Anaghaa merge with selected human being-components. The Parabrahman or unimaginable God exists in the human incarnations because Parabrahman is already merged with the energetic incarnation called God Datta. Since Goddess Anaghaa is the inseparable power of God Datta, Parabrahman is present in both God Datta and Goddess Anaghaa. When they both first incarnated on earth, they merged with two selected devoted souls and whenever they incarnate thereafter, they generally merge with the same souls, but, exceptions may be there now and then due to the emerging new deserving devotees. It depends purely on the wish of God Datta and Goddess Anaghaa.
4. Did Krishna break any promise other than that of not taking any weapon in war?
[Did God Krishna break any promise other than breaking the promise given to Arjuna (that He would not take any weapon during the Mahabharata war)?]
Swami replied:- Supporting justice and condemning injustice are very important and for this purpose, God can break His promises at any time. God Krishna incarnated on this earth whenever justice got damaged (Yadā yadā hi… - Gita). Seeing God Krishna breaking His promise, Bhishma also broke his old promise and co-operated with God Krishna to support justice and to destroy injustice.
5. Does any devotee suffer the punishments of devotees alongside the incarnation?
[Swami, You told that God takes the punishments of sins of His true devotees and suffers for their sake. But, I have heard some devotees saying that even the closest devotees of God also suffer for the sake of their co-devotees since they also have the power and status of God. For example, we know that Krishna is God. But, Balarama, the incarnation of Adishesha, is also God (based on Shesha-Sheshi relationship), Radha is also God (being the incarnation of God Shiva) and Rukmini is also God (being the inseparable power of God). Does any of them (Balarama, Radha and Rukmini) suffer the punishments of devotees alongside God Krishna?]
Swami replied:- They (not all devotees, only some devotees) have such powers to take the punishments of sins of other devoted souls, but, these powers are given to them by God only. God shall give His consent to those close devotees and if God is silent, their powers can’t function. If anyone attains the powers of God, the devotee shall not become egoistic and claim that he/she got the powers by self-effort. Due to hasty nature, these souls are getting a total fall.
6. Did Satii Devi in human form marry Shiva in energetic from?
[Swami, we know that the parts of the body of Satii Devi fell at various places on earth. But, she is the wife of God Shiva, who is the energetic incarnation of God. Did Satii Devi in human form marry God Shiva in energetic from?]
Swami replied:- Satii Devi is a human form born to Daksha, who worshipped Maayaa Shakti and got her as daughter. When she married God Shiva, He transformed Himself into human form. They both lived in the Himalayas. Lord Shiva became extremely angry hearing the exit of Satii. In that anger, He plucked a lock of hair from His Jaṭājūṭam (hair) and threw on the ground. From that were born Viirabhadra Swami (incarnation Lord Shiva) and Bhadrakali (incarnation of His power). After Viirabhadra Swami killed Daksha with His pattisa (warrior instrument), He cleaned His pattisa in Godavari river and since then, the place is called as ‘Pattisam’ or Pattisaachala kshetram.
