Faith on God

[This discourse was given by Swami in Mumbai]

Once you recognized Lord in human form, follow Him blindly. Hanuman followed Rama and served Him in His personal work of getting Sita. It should not be mistaken. It is clubbed with protection of the world that is killing Ravana. So, you should not analyze God. Whatever is dear to Him is Dharma and whatever is not dear to Him is Adharma. So, do what He orders you. You do it. Shirdi Sai asked a Brahmin on Ekadashi to kill the goat. He was ready to do it. Then Sai stopped him. He tested his faith in Him. Dharma came as a cow and Datta protects Dharma. Protector is greater than the protected. He competes with Dharma to test your love on Him. You must prefer Him and leave Dharma. After all the aim of Dharma is only to please Him. To be grateful to the creator of this entire universe is the highest Dharma. Dharmaraja went to hell for telling truth. He was ordered by Lord to tell a lie. But Dharmaraja voted for Dharma and told truth and so he went to hell for not hearing the Lord. Even very great devotees fall down at this point. You have to give Him topmost priority.

Gems from Universal Religions

Let the world pick up the gems present in all the religions without any hesitation. The petrol from Muslim countries, scientific technology from Christian countries and the analytical brain from Hindus are used everywhere. Then why not the spiritual gems from all religions are used to get the grace of God?

Firm faith of Muslims is a wonderful gem. They pray God five times per day, irrespective of it being a working day or a holiday and whether the time is convenient or not. This clearly shows their most sincere attention and obedience to God. This is really an admirable discipline and regularity.

Love and Compassion of Christians is a wonderful gem. They love even their enemies and do not harm anyone. They believe that God takes revenge only. This love, which is infinite, is really appreciable. Love is God and since God is infinite, love must be also infinite.

Tolerance of other religions of Hindus is a wonderful gem. In Hinduism itself, there are different forms of God with their corresponding different paths. Every Hindu worships all forms of God, recognizing the single God pervading in all those forms. This represents all the world religions as a mini model bringing the unity of religions.

Different food grains are grown in different parts of the country. The civil supplies department distributes all these grains equally to all parts of the country so that every citizen has a full meal with all variety of items. Such a meal gives full satisfaction. Similarly, salvation from God in terms of infinite bliss can be achieved only when your effort contains all the gems together.
