1. What are similarities and differences among the below three incidents?
[Smt. Lakshmi Lavanya K asked: Namaste Swami. i) When Lord Brahma hid the cows and cowherds in Vrindavan, Krishna spent a year taking all those forms. ii) In the Rasa Leela, He took as many forms as the number of Gopikas. iii) He took the forms to fulfil the duties and responsibilities of His wives towards everyone. Please explain what are similarities and differences among the three incidents.]
Swami replied:- When the unimaginable God takes a form to preach the souls in the world, He is called as incarnation. God has created all the souls in the creation and Krishna is the human incarnation of God. Krishna created the souls of cows and cowherds and He did not take those forms. If Krishna takes all forms of souls, then all souls become God making God responsible for the sins done by the souls. This is totally meaningless because every religion and every scripture says that God is the purest of the purest without a trace of sin. In all the incidents mentioned by you, God created the souls with their suitable bodies and qualities. In the act of romance, God takes His real form only when His power called Mahaa Maayaa or Anagha also incarnates in a female body. If He meets with any soul, He would no longer remain a perfect celibate. Since the possessor of power and the power are one and the same qualitatively, there is no true dualism between Him and the female form of His power. All these three cases mentioned by you have only similarity, which differ from the case of His power personified as a soul. Every soul is different from such personified divine soul of His power.
2. What is the specialty of Rasakrida other than two incidents?
[Thank You Swami]
Swami replied:- This lesson from rasa-dance is only to divert the bad qualities of bad souls of Kali Yuga towards God so that such bad souls are transformed from their Dushpravrutti to Pravrutti and subsequently to Nivrutti.
3. Should one suffer punishment even for doing one’s own duty?
[Namaste Swami. You said that the decision of Sita is correct because to kill Ravana, Sita had to go to the forests. After Rama went behind the golden deer, Sita Devi spoke suspiciously to Lakshmana and made him go behind Rama. (If Lakshmana had not gone, Ravana would not have been able to kidnap her, so she did it as part of her divine play.) Sita Devi doubted Lakshmana and so as a punishment, the washer man doubted Sita Devi. I read in knowledge that Rama sent her again to the forests. Should one suffer punishment even for doing one’s own duty?]
Swami replied:- Bhishma supported Kauravaas following his duty strictly. But, such duty was created by himself. In the case of Sita, she did her divine duty of scolding Lakshmana. She was also sent to the forest by Rama as a punishment of her divine duty appearing as sin externally so that the lesson shall be given to the audience. Treat both these scenes as two subsequent parts of the same divine drama set for preaching the human audience. Doing the divine duty is hidden in this drama and not exposed to contradict the second scene. The second scene is very important for the sake of human audience and not the first scene. The first scene belongs to actors, whereas the second scene belongs to the roles meant to preach humanity.
4. Will I have to undergo punishment for miscommunication in knowledge propagation?
[You said that propagation of Spiritual Knowledge pleases God. In knowledge discussion, due to miscommunication if emotions dominate and people hurt and practically punish themselves, will I have to undergo punishment? Thank You Swami.]
Swami replied:- It is true. Therefore, you must always be sure of your spiritual concepts before doing propagation. Discussions are different from propagation. Discussion is the earlier phase in which the concept is corrected with the help of the divine preacher and good co-devotees.
5. Is it proper for Sita to lead a life for 11000 years, proving her loyalty to Rama to those who ask her?
[Namaste Swami. Lord Rama ruled Ayodhya for 11000 years. You said it would have been better if Sita had proved her loyalty to her husband through a different miracle, instead of going into the earth. Even later, whenever someone comes and asks the question, You said it would be enough if she could perform a miracle and show them. Is it proper for her to lead a life for 11000 years, proving her loyalty to Rama to those who ask her every day and answering for the mistake she didn't do? Thank You Swami.]
Swami replied:- Rama never doubted Sita. Even in Lanka, He aspired for a test for the character of Sita for the sake of human souls, who always doubt anything with ignorance. In that place, the public of Ayodhya was not present. Rama aspired for one more miracle to be performed by Sita as a proof for her character so that the whole humanity is satisfied. Once this test is over, there will be no chance for the third test because the second test itself will become popular. Only as an assumption, I told that Sita can do any miracle on any day since she is the power of God as incarnation of Goddess Mahalakshmi. Sita behaved like that with emotion only to preach humanity that one shall not take fast decisions without having patience to do correct analysis.
