Thank You, Swami, for holding me close, even though I am an undeserving soul. Through Your infinite mercy and unconditional love, You are the source of true and complete spiritual knowledge, bliss, harmony, peace and kindness. Every moment in Your presence is a gift beyond measure. I also wish to express my heartfelt gratitude to Smt. Devi Mother and Ms. Thrylokya for their gracious support in reviewing and refining this offering, making it more meaningful. At Swami's Feet🙇🏻♀️ 🙏🏻❤️
We humbly surrender the attached 16 Divine Kalyāṇa Guṇas at the Divine Lotus Feet of our most Beloved Shri Datta Swami. At Your Divine Feet Always, Swami’s Devotee.
The 16 Divine Qualities of Beloved Swami.
1. Guṇavān (Virtuous and Noble) – Beloved Swami embodies unwavering righteousness, treating all beings with unconditional love and respect. His compassionate smile melts every soul, and His care for true devotees is boundless.
2. Vīryavān (Brave and Powerful) – Beloved Swami is omnipotent, capable of creating and dissolving anything at will. Yet, He exercises His strength with wisdom, performing miracles only when necessary.
3. Dharmajña (Knower of Dharma) – Beloved Swami possesses absolute knowledge of justice, far beyond human comprehension. He bears the suffering of His true devotees upon Himself and guides them through the trials of life.
4. Kr̥tajña (Grateful and Encouraging) – Beloved Swami appreciates every effort made in devotion, motivating devotees to do spiritual work even when it is not perfect. Both His pleasure and anger are expressions of His unconditional love.
5. Satya Vākya (Truthful and Steadfast) – Beloved Swami speaks only the highest spiritual truths. His words are the Veda and they carry the weight of divine promise. The truth of His words is seen reflected in the lives of His true devotees.
6. Dr̥ḍha Vrata (Resolute and Unwavering) – Beloved Swami’s dedication to His devotees is limitless. Even when His devotees forget Him, He silently watches over them, continuing to guide them. His devotees have personally experienced the immeasurably precious spiritual knowledge and time that He gives to uplift them.
7. Caritra Yukta (Exemplary Conduct) – Beloved Swami’s life is the embodiment of justice. Through His life, He has taught us the true purpose of human life, which is developing the climax of devotion to God. The examples of Kannappa’s devotion, and above all Swami’s own divine play of jumping from a hill at the command of Lord Datta stand as the highest inspirations.
8. Sarvabhūteṣu Hitaḥ (Compassionate to All) – Beloved Swami forgives sins if repentance is sincere and souls never repeat the sins. He never wishes to punish any soul and He never abandons His devotees, ever.
9. Vidvān (Omniscient and Wise) – Beloved Swami has blessed us with universal spiritual knowledge which is the greatest treasure for all humanity. He has simplified the most profound spiritual concepts so that even school children can grasp them with ease.
10. Samartha (Supremely Capable) – Beloved Swami has composed more than a 100 books on spirituality. After getting His PhD, many years ago, He declined a prestigious foreign postdoctoral research position so that He could dedicate Himself for His spiritual mission, while leading a modest life.
11. Priya Darśana (Radiant and Graceful) – Beloved Swami’s one smile is enough to make devotees fall at His Divine Lotus Feet. During satsangs, Swami captivates devotees with humor while imparting profound knowledge. When He listens to bhajans, He claps and waves His hand, filling devotees' hearts with warmth and bliss.
12. Ātmavān (Focused on God) – Beloved Swami always puts God first. He has taught us how to control selfish emotions & desires and focus on God without aspirations.
13. Jita Krodha (Peaceful and Calm) – Beloved Swami is a Source of peace. His spiritual knowledge brings deep peace to the hearts of souls.
14. Dyutimān (Radiant and Illuminating) – Beloved Swami radiates divine love, wisdom, and humility. He fills everyone with joy and also keeps them disciplined. His calm, kind, and fearless nature inspires everyone, making Him a guiding light for both spiritual and everyday life.
15. Anasūyaka (Free from Jealousy, Pure of Heart) – Beloved Swami is always a Giver and seeks to help all souls. He shares His own experiences for the well-being of His devotees.
16. Bibhyati Devāḥ (Revered and Feared by Gods) – Beloved Swami is the Master of all the gods. All gods and angels are His divine servants who always remain always alert, awaiting His command.]
Swami replied:- By praising the auspicious qualities of God, you are given good appreciation from the heart of God. Take care of the practical side of devotion, which is the proof for theoretical devotion.
