[A poem by Smt. Chhandaa Chandra on H. H. Shri Datta Swami]
Satyam Jnaanam Anantam Brahma – the true infinite spiritual knowledge,
Is the very first and most important characteristic of Lord Datta, I pledge.
(pledge:- promise)
People say this wonderful knowledge comes from Lord Brahma, whom we have not seen,
But, we witness this every moment in our life from our own Swami-the master divine!
The most visible proof for this is the universal-spirituality website,
That He has gifted to the humanity for our upliftment and direction right.
(upliftment:- spiritual improvement)
All the angles of knowledge are covered here in one place,
No need to search for God separately for this and fix your space.
Third characteristic is the miracle, through the form of God Shiva, Lord Datta exhibits,
(exhibit:- to show something)
We will again see how Swami fixed the problem in need of His dear devotees.
He does not give any importance at all to these miracles,
He says demons also can perform these, but aim is to prove the unimaginable God’s existence.
In between these two, comes the most wonderful Raso vaisah – the blissful love,
Lord Datta performs this through the form of God Vishnu, all above.
Let me not go to search examples for this love from any energetic or past human incarnation,
We have plenty of such occasions from Swami - our contemporary human incarnation.

I will take few real-life experiences that devotees have, as our own example,
Where Swami has stood as the saviour whether he cares or not for Him at all.
It started with saving the life of Shri Narendra Swami – a preacher at Srisailam temple,
He tried to kill Swami by doing black magic and taking all actions possible.
But he could not succeed in any of his wrong motivation,
Divine Mother Herself taught him a great lesson.
Divine mother appeared beating his head saying,
“Swami is God Datta, fall on His feet”.
Finally, he came and fell on Swami’s divine feet after failing in his evil mission.
Swami did not keep any revenge in Himself for this sinful act of this soul,
Happily, He forgave him, no negativity or internal aggression at all.
(aggression:- thoughts of anger on others)
It shows the love that He has even for His enemies,
What to tell about others, who want to be with Him on friendly basis?
Next comes the unique example of Shri MCS Shastri, a scholar in philosophy of Vedanta,
He was bedridden for several days for not understanding proper meaning of a verse in Ashtaavakra Samhita,
So depressed this scholar was that he decided not to read any further verse from any shastra.
Hearing this scholar’s condition, Swami went to his place,
To make him understand the proper meaning of that difficult verse.
So wonderful was His explanation,
That the scholar took food after a long duration.
Because of His love towards such a great soul,
He says, it is His responsibility to make everyone reach the ultimate Goal.
Can we think anybody loving another being in such a way by going so far?
It can’t be anybody other than the divine Father.
I will now come to our own circle of devotees,
This word ‘devotee’ itself says many things and express,
For whom Swami has come down, who is the Lord of the Universe!
Let me start with the case of Shri Phani, Swami’s most favourite disciple,
Whenever he shares something about Him, he gets emotional and it becomes visible.
It is not possible for him to count the number of events,
When His Swami has offered His hands to protect His dearest.
Hearing about such love, gives all of us great inspiration,
Let all of us take it in right sense and consider this as our motivation.
Next comes the example of our very respectable Ajay sir,
About whom Swami always says, as the model of unimaginable sacrifice and service.
Even when such a great person speaks about Swami, his God,
He starts weeping naturally, thinking about love, from His heart.
He too says that Swami’s love is really unimaginable,
Each and every occasion with Him, makes Him more lovable.
What to say about Nikhil sir and Devi mam – the torch bearers,
I really have no language to express Swami’s love towards these front runners.
When he says that each and every breath of him belongs to his Swami,
We all can guess how much love is towards them, from Him - the Antaryaami!
Surya sir and Bhagya mam, are always spellbound by their Swami’s name,
(spellbound:- speechless)
So deep is His love bonding with them that they don’t even want any fame.
Whenever I speak to our own Sarma sir, my Babuji (as I treat him like father),
He says Swami is Mahanayak and he is only a ‘shunya ji’ (zero).
He starts singing song describing Swami, on the phone itself,
Many times, I get emotional to hear his beautiful touchy voice myself.
Each and every line he sings, is full of His glory,
I feel myself lucky enough to witness this story.
Another great inspiration for all is Laxmi Thrylokya, the white dove,
Swami only has brought her to teach all of us about aspiration free love.
What kind of love, He must be having for her, all true,
That she can’t express anything else other than her beloved Sadguru.
Annapurna mam, in His devotees list, is the real mother figure,
Who is so fortunate to serve Swami passionately throughout the year.
So much devotion she is having for her beloved Swami!
That she does not even listen anything about herself, directs everything towards Swami.
Dr. JSR Prasad, another great example for extreme politeness,
Who says that all the good changes that he has, are all because of His greatness.
Laxman sir, Anil sir and Durgaprasad sir, are all in line,
Who can never stop talking, thinking about His divine loving.
In this way, we can see that the love Swami has, on all of His devotees.
He proves Himself as God Vishnu clearly, confirms the case.
It is not possible for me to name all His sincere devotees.
But, I owe to all of them for my devotion that incrementally increases.

I, the most undeserving, conclude Swami, You are my own God Vishnu,
Let others think whatever they want, I just want to enjoy this greatest fortune.
Even after hearing these real stories, if one can’t feel the divinity of Yours,
That soul becomes really the most unfortunate creature of this universe.
I know I can’t stand straight in front of You, I can never be able,
I always fail to maintain the dignity of Your love towards me, so unable.
Still, I pray to You only, whatever You may do with this soul,
Please don’t throw it away from Your divine feet, which is it’s ultimate Goal.
