Brahma Lahari - Giving Divine Visions - 11

Giving Divine Vision to Smt. Seetamma and Shri Phani

Swami gave many divine visions to Smt. Seetamma and Shri Phani. He used to give visions regularly to Smt. Seetamma and asked her to tell other devotees whatever she had seen and make them happy. She was given the darshan as Lord Rama, Lord Hanuman, Lord Ganapati, Lord Shiva, in the form of Shivalinga and many times as Lord Venkateshwara Swami, Shrimannarayana and Lord Datta. When Shri Ajay's wife was in danger, Swami said to Smt. Seetamma, "Look, look, tell Me what you are watching." Actually, Lord Brahma appeared to Smt. Seetamma and said, “See what I am going to do now.” She narrated this to all. From then onwards, the disease of Shri Ajay’s wife started to recede.

One day, the face of Swami appeared on the Shiva Linga. All the sages were doing the abhisheka to that Shiva Linga! When Phani saw the Atma Linga in Satyanarayanapuram, at the same time, Swami appeared to Smt. Seetamma in Krishna Lanka and asked, "Do you also want to see the Atma Linga?" and showed her a large, black Shiva Linga! On Vaikuntha Ekadashi day, the devotees made Swami sit facing north and had Uttaradvāra (North door) darshan and Swami appeared to Smt. Seetamma as Srimannarayana. Swami appeared to Smt. Seetamma many times as Jnana Saraswati, Kanaka Mahalakshmi, Kanaka Durga, Shri Shankaracharya, Shri Narsimha Saraswati, Akkalkot Maharaj and Sai.

Swami also appeared to Phani as Shri Rama, Ganapati, Maruti, Venkateshwara and Krishna. One day, when Swami appeared to Phani as Shiva, every object and every living being began to appear as Shiva for him. When Phani went to Swami, Swami was chanting Shiva Tāṇḍava bhajan! When he surrendered to Swami, the feeling was immediately pacified. Swami was singing His own composition, “Koṃḍekki Rānā (shall I come climbing the hills?)” and asked Phani to look at the idol of Lord Venkateswara. Lord Venkateswara Swami is said to have appeared to Phani, wiping His tears.

"However much are You remembered,
satisfaction is not attained,
You are an ocean of love with no shore"

In Tirupati, while singing the above stanza (this is from the song ‘Koṃḍekki Rānā’ composed by Swami), at the main statue, the idol seen suddenly illuminated!

Swami said that He gave divine visions to Shri Phani and Smt. Seetamma. Swami used to always ask them to tell whatever visions they had seen to other devotees. “I will appear to these two always, in whatever form I exist. I am giving them the service of telling you all about those visions and making you all happy,” Swami said.
