Blessing a Son
[Shri Prasad, Smt. Vijaya (wife)]
Shri Prasad is an employee of State Bank in Vijayawada. He is a devotee of Swami and Lord Venkateshwara. He prayed to Swami for begetting a son and Swami blessed him. Soon, his wife became pregnant. But the pregnancy slipped in the 4th month. Shri Prasad was unhappy and sitting in the Venkateswara temple. Talking to the God, he asked "Why did You do like this?" That day, when he came to the bhajan, Swami said, "The form of the God, not giving boon after the worship, should be left immediately. That is the ethics of these humans! Swami does not harm anyone. It happens according to the fruits of one's own actions. God is praised if good gives good fruit. If the fruit slips, God is cursed!” Saying this, He blessed Shri Prasad again and gave him a fruit. Shri Prasad's wife became pregnant again and on the day of delivery, the baby turned across in the womb and had to undergo an operation. Her blood group was not found anywhere. Ajay was there at that time. That morning Swami told Shri Ajay, “No matter how much difficulty comes, if one recites the Sankatamocana Hanuman song (bhajan) that I have written, that trouble will subside. This is true always." As soon as Shri Ajay remembered those words of Swami, he and Shri Prasad recited the Hanuman Bhajan. Subsequently, the delivery was successful without the need for an operation or blood transfusion. A son was born. What a compassion Swami has towards His devotees! Swami blessed the couple by gifting a son to them.
