A devotee's miraculous speedy recovery from health problems.

[By B Geetha Lahari]

Padanamaskaram Swami,

Thank You so much Swami for giving me this opportunity to share my experiences. I would like to explain various miraculous experiences I have experienced since I started working as a Duty Medical Officer (DMO) at Yashoda Hospital, Malakpet.

First of all, I got this job as a miraculous blessing from Swami. I am a person of very low confidence and I have never lived anywhere independently due to which I was afraid to come to Hyderabad for the sake of a job. Due to Swami’s blessing, my job location is just a 15-minute walk from Thrylokya sister’s house which gave me some comfort that I am not all alone. With confidence in Swami, I joined Yashoda Hospital as a DMO.

This is my first job after my graduation with an MBBS. So, I have very little practical experience. After 5 days of training, my boss told me to take care of one complete ward (with 20 patients) all by myself. This was a huge task for me. Having faith in Swami that He will be my Guide and also, that He is the true Doctor who treats every patient, I started working with the idea that I am just an instrument in Swami’s hands.

As I expected Swami to be there with me and guide me in doing my job, He has always been there guiding me through all the critical situations where I would have failed in doing my job properly. Every time I needed help, miraculously someone who was just walking by would drop some clues, give guidance, or sometimes give advance warnings of potential critical situations that I was going to face. I certainly know that it is Swami through all of them guiding me because of the perfect timing at which I used to receive such support. Only because You are guiding me like a professor, I am able to do my job, Swami.

After 2 months, my BP went down [80/60mm Hg]. Exactly that day, the number of patients in the ward that I had to monitor became very low. That miraculous decrease in patient load was only because of the omniscient Swami who knew about my health beforehand.  Whenever I am sick, I can clearly see that the number of patients that I have to monitor also comes down and this happens almost every time I get sick.  It is so obvious that it is Swami’s doing. I might have done so many sins and this sickness must be my own bad karma. Even then, Swami gave me His protection and allowed very little suffering to come to me. It is only from You, Swami, that I have received this level of guidance and protection. Thank You so much Swami for protecting me.

Once I fell very sick. During that time Sister Thrylokya miraculously came to my hostel that same day regarding Swami’s work. She helped me in getting all the necessary medication and food when I was not able to manage alone. Thank you so much Swami for sending Sister Thrylokya on the same day when I was very sick. During that time, Sister Thrylokya told me that Swami also fell sick. The very thought that Swami might have taken most of my pain was difficult to bear and I felt very bad for causing trouble to Swami. Since then, I have been more careful and have started putting more effort into changing myself and trying to live as per Swami’s guidance. I have never experienced this kind of love from anyone other than You, Swami.

There were times when I got scolded by my superiors for my negligence. This also I consider as Swami’s blessing. It is just like a father who punishes his child for doing wrong deeds. Swami is also trying to prevent me from doing wrong deeds.

On November 23rd while I was working in the hospital my BP went down again [80/60mm Hg]. I almost became unconscious and was also continuously vomiting. I was taken to the emergency ward for immediate management. During that time, I felt so weak and had no hope of recovery. I thought that the time to live on this earth for me was over and I felt helpless. I was just thinking that at least in my next birth I should try to sincerely please Swami. Necessary supportive management was started immediately. As the incident happened in the hospital, there was no delay in the treatment. As my colleague asked me to tell her whom to call to take care of me, I could only think of Sister Thrylokya. As soon as she received the call and heard about my condition, she said that she would come to the hospital. Miraculously, her boss also allowed her to take a break from office work and didn’t insist on her applying for leave before leaving for the hospital. She was there until all the medical tests were done and left only after my relatives came. I came to know that my parents and brother were going to reach shortly. This is another miracle because I wanted to see them. But I did not tell any of them. They came to Hyderabad because I had fallen sick. My wish to see them was fulfilled by You, Swami. The bills for all the medical tests were also very minimal which we could pay. It is none other than You, Swami, who has protected me multiple times and fulfilled my wishes even though I don’t deserve them. Thank You, Swami.

The biggest miracle here is that after reaching my relative's house, I slept off and by the time I woke up the next day morning, my condition was very stable, and I felt almost very normal. How is it possible for such a speedy recover from a critical and almost unconscious state to feeling almost normal? It is all only Swami’s miracle. I could happily spend some time with my parents and brother. I am a totally undeserving soul and I don’t deserve this human birth as well. But Swami, You gave me human birth. Not only that, You blessed me by allowing me to be Your devotee, gave me Your Darshans multiple times, and also gave direct guidance in my spiritual path. All of this is totally unimaginable for an undeserving soul like me, but with Your unimaginable kindness and love, You gave all of this to me, Swami.

My sincere thanks to Sister Thrylokya. My infinite thanks to Swami for not leaving this soul and taking care of me. Thank you, Swami, for showing unimaginable patience in guiding me and also punishing me whenever I go off track. My only goal is to serve You, Swami, and I will keep trying to do my best in that. Thank You for everything that You have given me, Swami.
