Bond with Family or Bond with God?

[3.12.2003] We are unable to practice the things in the matter of God that we easily practice in the matter of family. As soon as a man and woman in distant places get married, who are not related to each other, this man and woman forget their blood relatives, parents and brothers. The reason for this is that the bond established between them is the cause of momentary happiness. But when the bond with God, who bestows Nityānanda (eternal happiness), is formed, why not all the worldly blood relation bonds are breaking? The Gopikas offered the fruit of their hard work, i.e., the money like butter, to Krishna only, the son of Yashoda and Nanda but not to their own children. The most important bond of all the blood related bonds of a woman is the bond with her children. If that bond is broken, all other bonds are automatically broken. During the war, Arjuna wept only for his grandparents, great grandparents, who are his blood relatives, but did not even worry about Krishna who has been helping him. That means the blood-related bonds did not cut off when they are competed with the bond with Krishna. Accordingly, based on the bond with God, Gopikas were blessed with the newly created Goloka, whereas Arjuna had born as a hunter. We bring up and serve our children with lot of love. When they grow up and do not serve us by becoming slaves to their wives, we put all our wealth in their hands only even when they insult us.

In contrast, when we do some service to God and if He does not respond to our service, we are throwing away His photo frame in anger. If He further gives difficulties and humiliates us, we are breaking that photo frame into pieces so that others cannot use it. Therefore, we selfishly prove that the bond with God is not an equal bond to any of our family bonds. But through prayers we lie that He is the highest in the creation and deceive Him by asking return boons. So, O souls! Analyze yourself. It becomes very clear how much we are deceiving God. Therefore, liberation is the destruction of all bonds. The bond with Swami is the salvation. Therefore, for the ignorant people who cannot cut off their bonds and does the chanting and mediation in the name of God, it finally results in a false drama only. If there is no liberation from the bonds, then there is no salvation. Know that wife, husband, children, relatives and money will not come with you in your death. Only Lord Datta will come along with you. Looking at Lord Datta, Yama (Samavarti) will get up and salute. Then, with extreme bliss, you will go to the world of Brahmā (Brahma Loka) following Lord Datta.
