If Jesus was already God, why did God speak from the heavens saying that Jesus was His beloved son?

[Śrī Anil asked: Could You please respond to a person I came across on the internet. He asked why God said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased”, if Jesus already knew that He is God? This voice came from heaven as if God is speaking from Heaven, when Jesus got baptised by John the Baptist.]

Swami replied: There are two components in any Human Incarnation of God: (1) the God-component and (2) the human being-component. The God-component in Jesus also existed outside also due to His unimaginable power. The Veda says that when God merges with the devoted human being-component, God continues to exist in His original position (Sat) and also simultaneously becomes the medium (tyat). Hence, God can speak from outside while also being in Jesus. Jesus knew very well that He was God, but others present outside did not know that He was God. They thought that He was only a devotee and for the sake of such people, God spoke from outside. Jesus also cooperated with this context of the people around Him and only behaved like an ignorant devotee.
