(Eṣaṇā Traya Vicāra Yogaḥ)
Verses: 1-6 7-20
Śrī Rādhā Uvāca:-
[Shri Radha Devi spoke:-]
[O God Krishna! In the coming time of Kali age, justice will suffer in the worldly life and even God will be neglected in the spiritual life. This negligence towards God is seen even in the case of sages born as Gopikas, who neglected You and complained to Yashoda about Your stealing butter in spite of clearly knowing that You are the ultimate God. What is the basic reason for the failure of worldly life as well as spiritual life of souls in the coming Kali age?]
Śrī Kṛṣṇa Bhagavān Uvāca:-
[God Shri Krishna spoke:-]
[O Goddess Radha! The three strongest worldly bonds called ‘Eṣaṇā trayam’ (bond with spouse, bond with children and bond with money and wealth) are the main reasons. Even among these three strongest worldly bonds, the bond with children is the root reason of the three main root reasons.]
[The money and wealth are inert items and are not at all required if any other lively bond that has become lovely bond is absent. For the maintenance of self, very very little wealth is sufficient. Among the two lively and lovely bonds called spouse and children, the bond with children is stronger than the bond with spouse. The reason is that the love on the spouse-bond is not destroyed, but merges with the bond with children making the latter bond doubly strong.]
[All these Gopikas have attended this Rāsa-dance neglecting their spouse-bonds. This means that even without old age, the spouse-bond is very weak because these Gopikas neglected their spouse-bonds even in the youth, which means that the spouse-bond becomes weak and defeated even in youth if a more beautiful person is seen (Gopikas ran to the Rāsa-dance since Krishna is very beautiful). But, these Gopikas were defeated by the bond with the children because even after knowing that I am God, they complained to My mother Yashoda for stealing little butter from their houses, which was preserved for their children. The bond with children is very strong by itself without any other external reason. This is the strongest of all the three strongest worldly bonds. This bond with children exists in heart, which is the place of love representing Anāhata Cakra (meaning that this bond is not beaten by anybody so far).
[Among the lively-lovely worldly bonds, already we have told that the bond with children is the strongest bond, which should be mainly tested. Hence, money is earned mainly for the sake of this bond with children only. When the bond with money is also merging with the bond with child, the bond with children becomes stronger than itself, which is strongest bond. It becomes a double bond. This double bond becomes triple bond when the bond with spouse disappears in the old age and merges with the bond with child. Therefore, people are earning money even by destroying justice and doing any type of sin in the process of earning money for the sake of their children of future generations also.]
[In the coming Kali age, only three worldly bonds exist in any house. The bonds with mother, father, spiritual preacher (Guru) and God don’t exist even in an atom sized space of any house. The three worldly bonds are like the trident (Triśūlam), which is used by kings to punish the sinners. The sinner is pierced by the trident and is hanged on the trident till death. Every human soul in the coming Kali age is like that sinner pierced by this trident of three worldly bonds.]
[Sage Veda Vyāsa is said to be the king of sages. But, he ran after his son called Śuka overwhelmed by the fascination to the son! Even sages refused even God for the sake of little butter that was preserved for their children by complaining to My mother against My stealing of butter from the houses of Gopikas that was preserved for their children!]
[Does anyone know, who is the child-soul? The child-soul was the lender of debt to the parent-soul. The lender is born as the child-soul to collect his/her loan from the parent-soul in this birth. The parent-soul is fully amalgamated with the fascination to the child-soul so that the parent-soul pays back the loan with interest to the child-soul, who was the lender of that loan in the previous birth. God makes this arrangement so that justice is done to the lender. But, the child-fascination is so tremendous that the God Himself is thrown away by this blind fascination towards the child!]
[In the collection of the above said loan, God created the blind fascination to child in the heart of parent-soul. You may argue that the parent-soul should not be blamed because this fascination is created by God only to do justice to the child-soul or the lender. In this context, one should not take this petty point at all. The most important point that should be taken here is that if the parent-soul defeats his/her fascination for the child and votes for God in the competition, it means that the parent-soul has so strong climax devotion to God that even God could not break it even by creating the strongest child-fascination!]
[Temporary item is always unreal because the absolute reality exists in the past, present and future. Reality is always true, existing in the three tenses of time. If an item exists in the present and neither existed in the past nor will exist in future, such an item is called temporary item. Such temporary item does not exist even in the present time if it is analyzed sharply. The example for this concept is that two actors are acting as husband and wife in cinema shooting. Both were not a couple before shooting and will not be couple after shooting. They are couple in the present shooting time only. Such a temporary couple is not real couple even in the present shooting time. Hence, Shankara told that a temporary item is always unreal in all the three times (Yada nityaṃ tat kṛtakaṃ hi loke…). Similarly, these worldly bonds neither existed in the previous birth nor will exist in the future birth and are temporary only existing in this birth. Since any temporary item is unreal in all the three tenses, the presently existing worldly bond is also unreal.]
[It is wonderful to hear that sage Aṣṭāvakra preached king Janaka like this—the wife in the present birth becomes mother in the future birth. This means that two souls will be acting in any unreal bond existing between any two unreal roles from birth to birth. The example for this concept is—let us take two different cinemas and one is old cinema while the other is new cinema. In the old cinema, two actors acted as husband and wife. In the new cinema, the same two actors acted as mother and son (The reason is that the hero always remains as hero while the heroine becomes old quickly.). This is not wrong because both the actors were neither husband and wife in the past nor mother and son at present. The temporary bond in any present situation is always unreal.]
[Continuing the above example, we have already told that the bonds between temporary roles are also unreal like the roles in the cinema field. But, the bond with the producer of every cinema with the actors is continuously real (assuming that one producer exists for all cinemas) and the bond between producer and any actor is true in the case of all cinemas. Similarly, the bonds between the souls are always unreal in all the three tenses of time. But, the producer of this creation, God, is one and the same in all births. Therefore, the bond between God and any soul is always permanent and true in all the three tenses of time of this creation.]
[When the son of Arjuna called Abhimanyu dies in the battle field, Arjuna refuses further to fight the war. Then, I take him to the heaven and show his son there. Arjuna runs to him crying that he is his father. Abhimanyu asks Arjuna about the identity of the birth in which Arjuna was his father. By this, Arjuna realizes the truth, comes down and fights the war. This means that after death, the identity of any worldly bond is completely erased.]
[That blind king called Dhṛtarāṣṭra is also blind due to fascination towards his sons. His blind fascination itself destroys all his sons. By this blind fascination, he destroys himself also in the upper worlds after death. He does not change even a little in spite of My long preaching.]
[The same blind fascination existing on children shall be diverted to God. Even almost all these Gopikas, who were sages doing penance for several previous births slipped at this point only during their spiritual journey (Very great sages born as Gopikas recognized Krishna as God. Still, when Krishna stole butter-wealth from their houses that was preserved for their children, almost all Gopikas went to Yashoda, the mother of Krishna and complained about the theft of butter by Krishna.).]
[In the future, My son called Sāmba born to My wife called Jāmbavatī becomes the cause for the destruction of all our Yādava dynasty. Sāmba mocks at the sages and sages curse for the destruction of the entire Yādava dynasty in the future. Since he mocks the respectable sages, I would kill him with My own hands in the future (Since God Krishna is not having the blind fascination towards His son.).]
[In the future, the father of Rukmiṇī called Bhīṣmaka also decides to forcibly marry his daughter to Śiśupāla since his son called Rukmi forces him. Although Rukmiṇī is a young grownup girl for whom svayamvara (allowing the daughter to choose husband on her own) shall be performed as per ethical scripture, the blind fascination to the son makes him violate the scripture of justice.]
[Both justice in the worldly life and even God in the spiritual life are thrown away by the blind fascination to the child. Unless the soul defeats this strongest worldly bond for the sake of justice and God, salvation will not be attained. One should not misunderstand that king Daśaratha also died due to fascination to his son called Rāma. This is not correct. Daśaratha internally knows that Rāma is God and the devotion to God made him lose his life due to separation from God Rāma (Daśaratha and his wife Kausalyā did severe penance in their previous birth to get God as their son.).]
[Beyond all these examples, there will be one exceptional devotee called Śiriyāla in the future Kali age. For the sake of God Shiva, he kills and cooks his son to serve to God since God desired so to test the strength of devotion to God before the blind fascination to the son of the devotee (Pleased with the devotion of Śiriyāla, God Shiva gives life to his sacrificed son and also gives eternal salvation to Śiriyāla and his wife.).]
