1. How to keep faith in God when He is not saving kids from getting raped?
[Jinia Islam asked (Forwarded by Shri Hrushikesh):- I am finding it hard to keep faith in God as even people with good intentions like kids are getting raped or killed in wars or plane crash. If God is the ultimate supreme power, why can’t He save them?]
Swami replied:- Why don’t you criticize a judge, who is killing people by granting death punishment? Here, he is seen directly killing the people. You may answer that since they are criminals, they got punished. The Judge takes a lot of time to give such punishment. The omniscient God also takes a lot of time, not for analysing the case like the judge, but to see whether the criminal gets reformed or not. This is the judicial part of the administration. Since you do not know the past lives of the kids of this current life, you are assuming that injustice is happening in the administration of God. When you understand the background with patience, you will only praise God for His wonderful administration.
2. If everything is prewritten, then why should we pray or even try.
Swami replied:- Every human being has freedom to do a deed, but he/she has no freedom to escape the fruit of that deed, be it a merit or sin (Nā bhuktaṃ kṣīyate karma). This does not mean that every deed is prewritten. If a fruit of merit or a fruit of sin is decided to be delivered to a soul by God according to its past karma, the soul will inevitably receive it no matter how much effort is put by the soul to escape it. The fruits of intensive merits and intensive sins are decided by God immediately here itself. An extreme good deed and extreme bad deed will have immediate results here on this earth and most deeds will have results in the upper worlds of heaven and hell after death. This is a very complex multi-dimensional network handled by the omnipotent God. If a sinner prays God and studies the divine personality of God, who likes justice and dislikes injustice, the sinner will get reformed for whom there is no further punishment.
3. What is your opinion on the image of Jesus as the incarnation of Hindu God Datta?
[Rukesh Pidaparthi asked (Forwarded by Shri Hrushikesh):- In an image on internet, there are photos of many human incarnations captioned as the incarnations of God Datta. They put even the image of Jesus also. Some people are commenting that Christian missionaries are doing such things deliberately to convert Hindus as Christians. Please give Your opinion on this.]
Swami replied:- Whoever may be associated with these cases, after all logical analysis is logical analysis based on which only the judgement is given. ‘God Datta’ is the first incarnation of the unimaginable God or Parabrahman, who is beyond space. Christians call Him the ‘Father of Heaven’. Every human incarnation of God or energetic incarnation of God is the incarnation of God Datta only.
