[Shri JSR Prasad asked:- Swami, You said that water is real and the wave is inherently unreal in explaining Vivarta Vaada (apparent appearance). Is it similar to the illusion of serpent on rope? ]
Swami replied:- In the case of Vivarta, water is real and wave is unreal. But, you can see both water and wave together. In the second case also, rope is real and serpent is unreal. But, you cannot see both rope and serpent together like water and its wave. There is similarity as well as difference between these two cases.
