Swami protecting His devotee from death and rebirth

Namaste Swami,

On 2nd December 2025, I returned home at 10 a.m. after completing my night duty at school. My house owner is a Homeopathy Doctor, who does free service to public in the hospital run by Sri Satya Sai Baba Mandir. As I arrived home, I immediately noticed a gas leakage in the kitchen of my house owner and asked him to check the cylinder. He replied that he had just installed a new cylinder. After finishing his daily worship to God, he went to the hospital as usual. I slept in my room, which is next to his kitchen. At 2 p.m., my house owner woke me up and took me to his kitchen. To my shock, the gas pipe from the cylinder to the stove had turned into ashes, resembling charcoal. All the electric wires in the room had turned black, bent to the floor and every item was covered with black ash. Immediately, I filed a complaint online. Within 10 minutes, the gas technician arrived. After inspecting everything, he asked in wonder: “Why didn’t the cylinder explode? How did the fire extinguish itself after burning so much? I am truly surprised. Only God saved you today. This is nothing but a miracle of God. Otherwise, your lives would have been lost.” Saying this, he replaced all the necessary parts.

The next day, I narrated this incident to my colleagues at school. They said, “Your house owner was away at that time. Only you were present. If the cylinder had exploded, you alone would have died. The Swami, whom you worship as God Datta, has protected you. He gave you a new life, a new birth. Be careful and grateful".  At that moment, I realized that their words were absolutely true. Swami saved me not only from death but also from the cycle of rebirth. He spared me from enduring the nine months in the mother’s womb, the struggles of birth, childhood, education, finding a job and searching for the contemporary human incarnation to continue my spiritual journey. Swami granted me a new birth in my present body, protecting me from wasting years in another lifetime. Swami told several times that human rebirth is rare. Having interest on God is very rare. Getting to know about contemporary human incarnation is the very very rare. I have got these three rarest fortunes in this birth due to the grace of His Holiness Shri Datta Swami. I don't know if I would get another human rebirth and perhaps that's why Swami extended this very human life itself so that I can put serious spiritual efforts to attain the grace of God. With this incident, I realised how precious human life is. Therefore, I wish to express my eternal gratitude to the most benevolent Swami by becoming His servant in every birth. Beyond this, I know nothing else. Swami, please help me transform my character according to Your divine wisdom and make me worthy of being Your humble servant.
