1a. Does God always protect the one who follows justice?
[Shri Hrushikesh asked: Dear Swami, I request You to kindly help us with the answers for the below questions. When a person strictly follows rules of justice laid by God and leads a justified life, does God always protect such person?]
Swami replied:- God protects the justified life of any devotee provided such life is justified in the eyes of God and not in the eyes of the devotee.
b. Can we say for sure that God always travels along with such person saving him from difficult situations and unjust people causing harm?
Swami replied:- Yes. But, remember that the life of such a person shall be justified in the eyes of God and not in the eyes of any human being, which is always biased.
c. Can such person build the courage based on following justice?
[The reason for asking the above question is that an Indian friend of mine moved to Mauritius for a job. In his work place, he identified that some of his colleagues were doing some fraudulent activities, due to which the company was losing finances and running into losses. This fraud was brought to notice of the company's Chairman by my friend. The Chairman had an enquiry on this and removed those who were found guilty and removed them from the job. These employees who were removed from the job are Mauritius locals and they are threatening my friend. I told my friend not to worry at all since God is on his side, as he has done a justified thing and should not care about that threats. Also advised my friend to have the photo of Kalabhairava with him and chant the name "Shri Kalabhaiarava". I told him that Lord Krishna was always with Pandavas and protected them because they were always following justice. Only reason Pandavas were brave and courageous was due to support from Lord Krishna.]
Swami replied:- Your friend can chant the Maha Mantra “Shri Aanjaneya Shri Subrahmanya” for the sake of peaceful worldly life.
d. Is this advice from me correct? Kindly correct me if I have spoken anything wrong here?
Swami replied:- All your advices are perfectly correct. In addition to those, add My advice also.
e. Oh Lord Datta! Can You kindly add a few words to help my friend to build the courage and face this situation with vigour and boldness?
Swami replied:- I have already added a few words.
2a. Is describing the sexual activity between God and His wives a sin?
[Is describing the sexual activity between God and His wives a sin? There is a song written by Annamaiah called "Jagadapu Chanavula Jajara". Annmaiah describes the sexual activity between Lord Venkateshwara and His wives.]
Swami replied:- Scholars say that the sexual life of father and mother shall not be even mentioned by mouth and not to speak of its description. Scholars say that Kalidasa described the sexual life of God Shiva and Goddess Parvati in the 8th canto of his epic called the “Kumarasambhavam” due to which, he got leprosy, which was cured when he wrote another epic called the “Raghuvamsham” which is the story of Shri Rama and His dynasty.
b. Isn't it a sin to listen to such songs being a male? As this is also like listening to pornographic audio of another couple?
Swami replied:- Listening such romantic songs about the sexual life of God is certainly a sin. But, enjoying the greatness of God as the real romantic hero is not a sin. If your mind does not bend to any selfish worldly desire by such listening, it is not a sin.
c. How can such a greatest devotee Annamaiah do a sinful act by describing the sexual scene of God through this song?
Swami replied:- Annamaiah is totally dedicated to all angles of the divine personality of God without any selfish fascination. A devotee shall understand this and enjoy the greatness of the divine personality of God in every angle without any self-involvement. One should not be provoked into wrong line by hearing such songs. If you have a good wollen dress, you can walk even in Himalayas.
d. What if a person imagines those scenes by listening to this song and gains self-pleasure by masturbation?
[What if a person imagines those scenes by listening to this song and gains self-pleasure by masturbation? Isn't that a greatest sin. Why do these songs considered holy when there is such a high risk of doing such a horrible act?]
Swami replied:- I have already told that any self-involvement is sin.
