Divine Experiences of Shri Karthik

Jai Guru Datta,

I would like to share a miracle that I recently experienced by the grace of Shri Datta Swami.

I got married just a few months ago in August. After the marriage, we performed a ritual known as the Satyanarayana Vratam. Swami graced our home during the Vratam and everything went very well. After the Vratam, I introduced my wife, Lavanya, to Swamiji. My wife is a devotee of Shri Shirdi Sai Baba. Although my wife knew about Swamiji prior to our marriage, this was the first time she saw Him in person. Swamiji was in a satsang at the time, and we were immersed in a divine atmosphere in His presence. At the time, I remember thinking to myself, “Swamiji, it would be so nice if You showed Your true dvine nature to Lavanya. Although I informed her about You, I feel that she may not know who You really are.”

I went back to focusing on the divine knowledge being imparted by our beloved Sadguru. After a few minutes, I saw that my wife had suddenly burst into tears. She turned away and rushed into a nearby room. When we enquired as to what had happened, my wife told us, “I was looking at Swamiji and in an instant, I could see only Shirdi Sai Baba. I suddenly felt as if I was in the presence of the Lord Himself. I was overwhelmed by emotion and had tears of joy.”

I was astonished when I heard my wife say this. I had requested Swami in my mind to reveal His true nature to her only a few minutes ago. And out of His limitless compassion, He showed Himself to my wife as Shirdi Sai Baba, the form of God she worshipped every day.

In fact, many years ago, when Swamiji had first entered my life, He showed Himself to me as Shri Satya Sai Baba. Swamiji showered His grace on us and granted divine visions of Shri Satya Sai Baba and Shri Shirdi Sai Baba to me and my wife. He effectively proved to us beyond doubt that He is Lord Datta, who has come to uplift the souls of this world.

Thank You Swami for everything. Everything that is good in me today is only because of You.
