(Daiva Līlā Vicāra Yogaḥ)
Śrī Rājīva Uvāca:-
[Śrī Rajiiv Spoke]:-
[O Preacher! Śrī Paraśurāma got defeated in the hands of Śrī Rāma. How is this possible? Both are the divine incarnations of God Viṣṇu only. Between these two Incarnations of God Viṣṇu, who is the winner and who is the runner?]
Śrī Datta Bhagavān Uvāca:-
[God Śrī Datta Spoke]:-
[God is an infinite ocean of divine bliss. Compared to His divine bliss, what is the pleasure that is obtained in the plays? The plays of God are only the preachings of God to humanity about justified worldly life and perfect spiritual life.]
[Śrī Paraśurāma killed all the bad kings in the entire country. To what extent can His greatness be estimated? In this way, even human beings may go mad with ego due to their extraordinary works. In such people, it is essential to bring submissiveness for the welfare of the world and this is preached here.]
[The incarnation is selected in the divine play to get the illusion of greatness of self so that every human being will think that when God Himself got such excess pride, he/she will definitely get such pride and will analyze himself/herself.]
[Even God acts in the role of villain so that every human being will certainly think about himself not as an exception to this invasion of ego and pride and will analyze himself/herself thoroughly to rectify oneself from such blunder.]
[When God Śiva appeared as the pillar of radiation, God Brahmā went up to find the head of the pillar and told a lie that He saw the top of the pillar, for which He was punished by God Śiva in the form of Kālabhairava. Can this be real?! God Brahmā, God Viṣṇu and God Śiva are one and the same God Datta. But Brahmā acted in the role of a liar and got punished. He acted like this to preach that one should not tell a lie, at least before God. Everybody will think that when God Himself tells a lie, what about a human being and will be very careful.]
[God Viṣṇu slept keeping His head on the top end of the bow by which His head was cut due to the broken bow string so that He became the horse-headed God called Hayagrīva. This happened not only to kill a demon called Hayagrīva, but also to preach the humanity to be careful before sleeping. When God is hurt in this role, humans will certainly think that they will also slip if care is not taken.]
[“God Rāma left Sītā, who is pregnant” — Like this, people criticise Rāma, but they don’t know the fact behind it. Sītā blamed Lakṣmaṇa’s character in the forest and the punishment for that sin came in the same form so that a washerman blamed the character of Sītā. The fruit of sin is just like the form of sin. This is preached to humanity through this incident.]
[When Lakṣmaṇa went into coma after being struck by the Śakti arrow of Indrajit, Rāma says that He does not want Sītā if Lakṣmaṇa is absent. This does not mean that Rāma has less love for Sītā. Rāma preaches humanity that one should take care of brothers and sisters even more than one’s spouse (crossing the strongest spouse-bond called Dāreṣaṇā) if necessary.]
[Bharata left the kingdom when Rāma went to the forest. Satī left Her life on hearing the scolding of Her husband. Both sacrificed not for the sake of brother and husband, but both of them know that Rāma is God and Śiva is God respectively. That is the level of devotion to God! Bharata and Satī are divine souls very close to God and hence, always recognised God.]
[Satī burnt Herself by hearing the criticism of God Śiva from the mouth of Her father. This shows that Satī was not having patience to answer the criticism and committed suicide due to extreme emotion. When Goddess Pārvatī did penance for God Śiva, God Śiva also came in disguise and criticized God Śiva in the same way. Unlike Satī, Pārvatī answered the criticism patiently. All this play of God Śiva preaches humanity that the bridegroom shall test the patience of the bride before marriage!]
[God Narasiṃha showed unimaginable anger on Hiraṇyakaśipu and such anger was not shown on any demon in any incarnation of God Viṣṇu. What is the reason? The reason is that Prahlāda was terribly tortured for a long time. God retorted all that with compounded interest. All the anger of Lord Narasiṃha was the love on Prahlāda that was transformed into anger on the demon. Otherwise, God has no hatred or love on any soul without reason.]
[Like this, the internal meanings of the stories present in the Purānams shall be explained by scholars to remove the misunderstandings of the public, who are distant from the direct knowledge of the Vedas and the Śāstras.]
Śrī Rājīva Uvāca:-
[Śrī Rajiiv Spoke]:-
[In our Hindu religion, the caste system is rigidly determined from birth, leading to unnecessary discrimination. In other religions, the caste system is basically not so determined by birth and they consider qualities and subsequent deeds as well. Other religions remain strongly united, whereas our Hindu religion is weak due to splits. How do You answer this point?]
Śrī Datta Bhagavān Uvāca:-
[God Śrī Datta Spoke]:-
[You are speaking the truth. From the beginning of Kali Yuga, this bad tradition is developed. Even up to the end of the Dvāpara Yuga, the caste system was running based on the qualities and deeds only. At the end of Dvāpara, a person called Romaharṣaṇa, born in the caste of drivers of chariots (Sūta), was made the president of a sacrifice conducted by sages in Naimiśa Forest since he was a very great scholar of scriptures.]
[God Krishna, the brother of Balarama, the author of the Bhagavad Gita, also wrote that the caste system is by qualities and subsequent deeds and not by birth. God Krishna is the highest divine incarnation and the Bhagavad Gita is one of the top three spiritual authorities. Since in Kali Yuga, a lot of justice gets destroyed, the caste system originally present from the beginning of the creation (Satya Yuga), was also distorted due to the ignorant ego of upper castes.]
[Ravana belongs to the caste of Brāhmaṇas, whereas Rama belongs to the caste of Kshatriyas. The sages in the forest, who are very high-grade Brāhmaṇas, washed the feet of Rama and prayed Him to kill Ravana even though Ravana belongs to their own Brāhmaṇa caste.]
[Cārvāka was from a Brahmana family and also a sage, but he was criticizing the Vedas and stood as the founder of atheism. He was criticised by all sages although he was a Brāhmaṇa by birth. Therefore, till the beginning of Kali Yuga, good qualities and good deeds were always worshipped and such good people alone were treated as the highest caste called Brāhmaṇas.]
[Some Brāhmaṇas say that Brāhmaṇas were actually the highest caste, but due to the influence of Kali Yuga, Brāhmaṇas have fallen down. If that is so, other castes must also have fallen down at least to the same extent. In such case, we should not find a person of another caste higher than or equal to a Brāhmaṇa. But sometimes, we see very good people like Rāma in the lower caste and very worst people like Ravaṇa in the higher caste! One must remember that the influence of Kali Yuga is equal on all castes.]
[The functions of the castes are only professional duties, which are not allotted to some prescribed categories by some authority. Wherever we find the maximum talent in a professional duty, such maximum talent is respected as the highest caste. The professional duty of a Brāhmaṇa is to teach the true knowledge of God to the public without telling lies. That is why a chariot driver, Romaharṣaṇa, became the best Brahmaṇa by becoming the president of a great sacrifice and Ravaṇa, even though born in the caste of Brāhmaṇas, was condemned as a demon.]
[Singing devotional songs is Gāyatrī and reciting the hymn written in Gāyatrī meter (Tatsaviturvareṇyam…) is not Gāyatrī. The general meaning of Gāyatrī is singing sweet devotional songs on God to please God. For anybody, singing songs is better than reading poems, which is better than reading prose. That is why the Sāma Veda or singing God’s praise is said to be the best (Vedānāṃ Sāma Vedo'smi– Gītā). Since women sing sweetly, Gāyatrī is very much related to women only and this increases the respect for women. Like this, the meaningless discrimination based on gender is also to be removed. Of course, men can also sing the praise of God.]
[The ritual called ‘Upanayanam’ is done to preach the Gāyatrī (singing devotional songs) to every child because the throat of a child is very sweet to sing the devotional songs. In this ritual, three strings (threads) are taken (worn), which means that the child should catch the Divine Preacher in human form. The three strings represent the three Guṇas (in Sanskrit, the word ‘guṇa’ means quality as well as thread), which are essential for the human medium (Sattvam is awareness, Rajas is inert energy and Tamas is matter or solid human body) to get the training in singing sweet songs on God.]
[Women generally do the worship of God under the name ‘Vratam’. In this Vratam, women sing sweetly on God and also distribute good food items, which is the highest sacrifice of the fruit of work. Both singing the praise of God and donating good food items are the highest forms of worship and hence, God is certainly pleased with such forms of worship performed by women.]
[Some male devotees object to the worship of Gāyatrī by females, while Gāyatrī is a female form! Gāyatrī means that one shall sing the praise of God. This male simply reads the Gāyatrī hymn, which is not actually Gāyatrī (song) and in this way, the male is objected by Gāyatrī!]
