Śrī Rājīva Uvāca:-
[Śrī Rajiiv Spoke]:-
Ādyākāśo matas trīṇāṃ,
tat sṛṣṭiriti tat kṛteḥ |
Hetu śṛṅkhalayā tejaḥ,
na baddhaṃ triṣvivā'tra kim?॥

[In the context of the creation of space and energy, it is told that God created these two. In the context of the creation of the other three elements, such direct mention of God is not present. Does this mean that the other three elements (air, water and earth) are created by themselves based on their causal material? For example, the causal material for earth is water. Does this finally mean that the space and energy are created by God and the other three elements are created from their causal materials?]

Tejasaḥ parahetuśca,
vāyu rukto dvikāraṇam |
Kathaṃ tejasi gṛhyeta?,
vāyornu kim anantaram?॥

[On one side, the Veda says that ‘Tat’ (God) is the cause for the creation of energy. Again, the Veda says that energy is produced from air (Vāyor agniḥ). By this, energy gets two causes, whereas other elements get one cause only. How to accept two causes for energy? Or does it mean that God created energy after the creation of air? Please remove all this confusion.]

Śrī Datta Bhagavān Uvāca:-
[God Śrī Datta Spoke]:-

Kleśas satyaḥ sadabhāvāt,
jāyante kleśa śṛṅkhalāḥ |
Sadidaṃ jñeya matrāho!,
nabhas tejo dvayaṃ na hi॥

[The confusion rising here is true. Confusion always comes due to hidden reality, due to which the infinite chains of confusion are created. A wonderful truth must be known here, which is that space and energy are only one and not two. By this, all the chains of confusion get removed.]

Sūkṣmaṃ tejo nabhas sthūlam,
agni rityucyate param |
Tejo dvirūpa mevātra,
tattadidaṃ dviruktimat॥

[The energy in subtle state is space and the same energy in gross state is fire. This is the reason for saying that the same cause (God) is repeated in both places. This means that the first element is subtle energy in the form of space. The repetition of cause (God) also indicates that God created space or subtle energy as the first element in the beginning. By this, the quarrel about the first element to be space or energy is also resolved.]

Śṛṅkhalāyāṃ hetavas te,
nāmamātrāstu kāraṇam |
Bhagavāneva gūḍho'yaṃ,
Paramityartha hetavaḥ॥

[In the chain of items of creation, everywhere the hidden real cause is God only. God created the space first and then created air from the space. Further, all items are created by God only. Here, the cause and creator of air is not space but God. Following this tendency, the gross energy or fire created water. Here again, we must understand that the cause of water is God only and not fire or gross energy. When you say ‘Vāyor agniḥ’, it does not mean that gross energy is generated from air. It only means that gross energy is generated by God after generating air from space.]

Nirguṇaṃ Brahma saguṇaṃ,
Brahma Dattau ca sṛṣṭidau |
Ādyaṃ nagnaṃ paraṃ vastraṃ,
dhatte vāso guṇātmakam॥

[Parabrahman is Nirguṇa Brahman, which is like a naked person. Saguṇa Brahman is the same Parabrahman called as God Datta mediated with a cloth-like energetic body, which is made of the three qualities called Sattvam (awareness), Rajas (inert energy) and Tamas (inert matter) in trace (since the energetic body is a collection of photons having different directions resulting in non-zero rest mass). Both Parabrahman and God Datta created the creation.]

Paramamvyoma Dattāṅgaṃ,
taijasaṃ Brahma sṛṣṭavat |
Āviśya taijasāṅgaṃ tat,
Dattas cakre jagat param॥

[Both have created space and energy. Parabrahman created the space required for the occupation of the divine body of God Datta and also created energy with which the body of God Datta was created. By this, Parabrahman becomes the creator. Later on, the same Parabrahman, getting mediated with the created energetic body, becomes God Datta and carried on the rest creation. Hence, both Nirguṇa Brahman and God Datta are creators (Tasmād vā etasmād ātmana ākāśaḥ…- Veda). Here, ‘tasmāt’ means Parabrahman and ‘etasmād ātmanaḥ’ means God Datta. This statement says that both Parabrahman and God Datta created space or subtle energy.]

Sṛṣṭi śaktir dvayor uktā,
kevalo dvau na hi sthitau|
Śakti rekasya tatrānyo,
veṣa eva na śakti mat॥

[We have told here that both Nirguṇa Brahman (Parabrahman) and Saguṇa Brahman (God Datta) are one only and not two different persons. All the power of creation belongs to that one God (called Parabrahman or God Datta). Parabrahman is like an unseen naked person in a bathroom and God Datta is like the same person clothed to be seen by all. The second item here is only the cloth, which is the energetic body of God Datta. It is only an external dress and has no trace of power.]

Śrī Rājīva Uvāca:-
[Śrī Rajiiv Spoke]:-

Apa eva Sasarjādau,
iti brūte manusmṛtiḥ |
Ākāśas taittirīyeṣu,
proktaḥ kathaṃ samanvayaḥ?॥

[The ethical scripture called ‘Manu Smṛti’ says that God created water first. But, in the Veda, the Taittirīya Upaniṣad says that God created space first. How to correlate this contradiction?]

Śrī Datta Bhagavān Uvāca:-
[God Śrī Datta Spoke]:-

Madhvaḥ prāha vyakta sarga —
prārambhe jalam ucyate |
Jalāt jīva gaṇo jātaḥ,
Lakṣmaṇo'pyeva muktavān॥

[Śrī Madhva said that water is the first item from which onwards, the creation became clearly visible and touchable. From water only, all the living beings started to emerge. Śrī Rāmānuja also said that water alone is subtle, but dominant in touch. Space and air can neither be seen nor touched. Gross energy cannot be touched like water. Although light energy can be seen, the other forms of gross energy like magnetic energy, electric energy etc., cannot even be seen. This is a very easy correlation.]

Śaṅkaraḥ prāha bodhāṃśa —
parva tulyaṃ samanvayam |
Adhyāya bhinna Gīteva,
pūrvam eva tadapyataḥ॥

[Śrī Śaṅkara said that this is a starting point of a new chapter in teaching, which is a standpoint. For example, the Gītā deals with a specific subject, but it is divided into various chapters based on different new starting points. Visible and gross manifestation of creation is a new point. When a new point is started, it can be said as the beginning of the point. Therefore, all the three Divine Preachers are perfectly correlated.]

Ākāśa rūpa sūkṣmatvāt,
tejaḥ prathama mucyate |
Mūla prakṛti rityeṣā,
jagadādima kāraṇam॥

[Mūla Prakṛti is said to be the subtle energy, which is the first creation of God. This Mūla Prakṛti is the primary cause of all the creation done by God.]

Tat kāryaṃ jagad uktaṃ ca,
kāryaṃ kāraṇa nāmadhṛt |
Hemābharaṇa jālaṃ hi,
hemeti kathyate janaiḥ॥

[The product of Mūla Prakṛti is this world. Hence, this world is also called as Mūla Prakṛti or simply Prakṛti. The golden jewels are simply called as gold by the people. Śrī Śaṅkara told Mūla Prakṛti as non-inert energy (avidyā or awareness with ignorance) while the other two Divine Preachers said that Mūla Prakṛti is an inert matter because according to them, awareness is taken as a separate item called consciousness.]

Jaḍa śaktiś ca caitanyaṃ,
jaḍaś ca jaḍaśaktijāḥ |
Vijñāna śāstra sammatyā,
kutra teṣāṃ virodhavāk?॥

[As per the latest scientific knowledge, inert energy, awareness and matter are different forms of inert energy only, which is called as Mūla Prakṛti. If you take this point as the basis, where is the difference in the words of the three Divine Preachers?]

Śaṅkaroktaṃ tadajñānaṃ,
avidyeti ca jaḍo'tha cit |
Sarvaṃ mūlaprakṛtigaṃ,
tasmāt sādhu samanvayaḥ॥

[Śrī Śaṅkara said that Mūla Prakṛti is ignorance or Avidyā. Whether you argue ignorance as inert or awareness, it is immaterial because Mūla Prakṛti itself is inert matter and awareness as two different forms as per scientific knowledge. Therefore, all the three Divine preachers are well correlated.]

Tat tejo'sṛjatetyuktaṃ,
mūla prakṛti reva tat |
Vidyut prabhādi rūpaṃ yat,
jaḍa cid rūpa meva ca॥

[The Veda says that God created inert energy first, which in the subtle state is space. This first created inert energy is called Mūla Prakṛti. This inert energy exists in the forms of light, heat, electricity, magnetism, sound etc. Apart from these various forms, this Mūla Prakṛti also becomes matter in condensed state. This same Mūla Prakṛti becomes awareness, when it enters the functioning brain-nervous system.]
